SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD FROM GOC OFFICE GATE TOWARD VIJAY DWAR (PQC) UNDER GE KHUMBATHANG.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and paving exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field flexural strength 45Kg/ Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC-15, 2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non-circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum curing machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10.1.14 and Table-9 of IRC 15-2017 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:- (a) Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compatible to IRC-44-2017 (b) All types of joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (c) Cost of any admixtures required to achive the desired properties of PQC shall be deemend to be included in the unit rate (d) Two coat of surface shield/densified as specified.

Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, Grade A filled with sealing compound complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M & L forming 25 mm wide expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air and shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by onward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing solar delineator light, dimension 70x70x100mm, direction 360 degree, round light protected with MS mesh, fitted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 1000 mm (300mm below GL and 700mm above GL)height, powder coated including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (300x300x450mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparing concrete surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage of size 1200mm x 900mm and height 2900 mm (2000 mm above GL & 900 mm deep) and board made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTM D-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from size of angle iron 40x40x4 mm and PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for post hole the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.
