Supply, erection, testing and comissioning of 16 mtr high mast light system suitable for 9 luminaires(raising & lowering type) having following specifications & accessories. (a) High Mast: The high mast light system of 16 Mtr high mast, entirely high mast structure (internally and externally) and all MS part shall be hot dip galvanized. The high mast shall be of continuously tapered polygonal cross section of 20 sides made up of two sections having sheet thickness 3mm. The mast shaft shall be manufactured from high tensile steel plate conforming to S355 grade as per BS-EN 10 025 having longitudinal welded seam only and without any circumferential weld joint. The minimum dimension across flats of top shall be 150mm and bottom(base) 410mm. The base plate shall have thickness 25mm and diameter 570mm. It shall have door at suitable height at bottom of size 1200x250mm having vandal resistance, weather proof type with pad locking facility. The base flange shall be provided with supplementary gussets between the bolt holes. The door opening shall be carefully designed and reinforced with welded steel section, so that the mast section at the base shall be unaffected and undue buckling of the cut portion is prevented. (b) Luminaires Carriage: Hot dip galvanized luminaire carriage of suitable diameter designed to install symmetrically 9 No luminaries fabricated from ERW tubes in two halves having bolted flanged joints at side with stainless steel bolts and nuts to permit removal from an erected mast. Holes are to be provided in the bottom side of the tubes to act as conduit for wiring cables. Luminaires fixing arms and plates are to be welded to the carriage. Carriage shall have fitted with buffer arrangements to prevent damage to the mast finish during movement. The junction box shall be cast aluminium weather proof provided on the carriage assembly for terminating the trailing cable and power cable to luminaries. (c) Winch/ Power tool: The double drum winch shall be completely self sustaining without the need for brake shoe, springs or clutches and self lubricating type by means of an oil bath. The worm gear ratio shall be of suitable ratio and having safe working load 750 Kg min. The drums are to be grooved to provide the perfect seat for the stable and tidy rope lay arrangement for distortion free rope and termination. The winch shall have provision to operate electrically through power tool or manually in case of power failure. Three phase single speed, 6 pole high power motor of 1 HP rating min suitable to lift the load mounted on plate to adjust the length of motor of chain shall be provided in base compartment. Mechanical torque limiter mounted on motor shaft for start/stop transmission of motion shall be provided. The power tool shall be supplied complete with push button type control switchs incl any wiring & accessores i.e. contactors, relays required at site. (d) Hot dip galvanized head frame as a capping unit of the mast of the welded steel construction and provided with guides and separators between the rope and cable complete with aluminium pulleys with bush bearing mounted through stainless steel shaft suitable to accommodate wire rope and multi core trailing cables. The head frame to be provided with guides and stops with PVC buffer for the locking of the luminaire carriage. The pulley shall be covered with a hot dip galvainzed canopy. The suspension wires shall be made of stainless steel wires rope of AISI 316 grade, 7/19 construction with central core in the same material of 6mm dia. The breaking load capacity of wire rope should be 2350 Kg x 2 minimum. The end termination luminaire carriage shall be with stainless steel thimble etc. (e) The multi core flexible power trailing cable from base compartment to junction box at luminaries carriage shall be EPR insulated PCP shaethed 1100 volts grade copper conductor with male female connectors of 4.0 Sqmm having suitable cores for 9 Nos luminaires or above as required at site for control of these ligths as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The system shall have in-built facilities for testing the luminaries while carriage in lowered position. (f) One number heavy duty hot dip galvanized lightning finial shall be provided for the mast. The lightning finial shall be minimum 1.2 M in length or as required so that the lantern carriage also comes within the safety zone and shall be provided at the centre of the head frame. It shall be bolted solidly to the head frame to get a direct conducting path to the earth through the mast. The lightning finial shall not be provided on the lantern carriage under any circumstances in view of safety of the system. A suitable space shall be provided at base of the mast to connect with earthing. The mast shall have single/double dome LED aviation light at the top of suitable capacity. (g) Mast shall be erected with foundation bolt set comprises of anchor plate with 8 Nos high tensile studs/bolts with nuts. The foundation bolt shall be TS600, 24mm diameter, 750 mm long .Note: The quoted rate include the cost any type of special T&P, tools, equipments reqd at site for erection, installation of the complete high mast light system. The quoted rate include the cost of any control/junction box for lights, other accessories, items which is necessary for the satisfactory functioning of the high mast light system but not mentioned in here. The mast shall conforming to cat part No BMRLMW16M of Bajaj or equivalent in CG/Philips/Havells. If the higher specification from those mentioned in ref cat part No are required depending on weather condition and soil bearing capacity, it is advised to visit site/collect data for same before quoting rates.Make of High Mast: Bajaj/CG/Philips/Havells Note :- i) Cost for earthing for HM pole ,Cost for all electrical connections & cable connections Panel to Pole junction box/ up to lights, Foundation drawings OEM, steel work & PCC are deemed to be included in Job.
