Work Description

Scope of the work covers carrying out Comprehensive Annual Maintenance works of Blue star make duct and packaged split type AC units installed at MGHE Power House, KPCL Jog falls 577435 which includes preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, spares to be provided for maintaining continuity of work and replacement of defective parts of complete air conditioning system for a period of one year.The scope of work also includes supply and replacement of 22tr PKG unit blower.For detailed scope of works refer technical specifications of bid documents

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The Tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement Portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at Tenderers end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

For successful bidder, the EMD will be returned, only after entering into agreement and furnishes the contract performance guarantee in an acceptable form

EMD furnished by the bidder will be forfeited in case the bidder withdraws the offer during the validity or violates any clause stipulated in the bid

Tenderers shall not be under declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by the Government of Karnataka

If the Tenderer makes any alterations in the conditions of the contract or puts any condition of his own, such tenders are liable for rejection

KPCL reserve the right to reject any or all tenders received without assigning any reason

Rates shall be quoted in Price Schedule (Financial bid) in the website itself and not upload the same in technical bid, failing which Tender will be rejected

Tenderer shall quote rates exclusive of GST

The original documents should be produced for verifcation at any stage of tender process as and when sought for, failing which, the bids are liable for disqualifcation

The Tenderer shall obtain insurance coverage for all the workers deployed for this work

KPCL shall recover the Income Tax at the prevailing applicable rates

Any other job not specifcally mentioned but reasonably implied to be executed for satisfactory completion of the job in all respects shall have to be carried out by the Contractor without any extra cost. Decision of Engineer-in-charge shall be fnal and binding in this regard

Corrigendum / modifcation / corrections, if any, will be published in the eProcurement Portal web site only

Bidders are advised to visit the work site ie MGHE Power House, Jogfalls 577435 before bidding to obtain hands on information, about the quantum of work involved, from the concerned division head

Past Experience

The bidder should be a regular contractor/agency/firm and shall have experience in carrying out the annual maintenance/overhauling works of split type duct packaged AC system. In proof of the above, work order and corresponding work completion certificate for at least one single order in preceding 5 years issued from competent authority of above-mentioned works with the contract value not less than Rs. 1.18Lakh should be furnished

Others -- Relevant work order/s copies and work completion certifcates for the above shall also be uploaded in the e-portaL

Financial Status

The Bidders in the last five financial years should have achieved in at least two financial years (2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26) an average annual financial turnover of Rs 2.32Lakh. In proof Annual Report/turn over /Profit & Loss certificates duly certified by chartered accountant shall be furnished.
