M&L for preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism, providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Job mix formula shall be approved by CWE. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Computerised print out of data of bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant shall be provided to the GE by contractor.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by CWE.

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by CWE.

M&L for Thermo plastic road marking 2 mm thick painting (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on new or previously treated road surfaces) with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of new or previously treated road surfaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F dual directional delineator made out of 16 gauge MS rectangular pipe of size 25x68 mm and of length 600mm stove enameled and backed to 120 degree or powder coated, head made out of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflectors of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100x125 mm with additional two reflector strips of 25mm wide, delineator shall be fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 300x300x350mm deep, including necessary excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken delineator of any type. Notes :- (i) Delineator shall be of Model ‘GPL-UBPH-11-56’ of make ‘GREENLITE’ or equivalent of make DARK EYE / 3M / TATA BP / Avery Dennison / Alexis / Oscar / DEV / Surya / Sharp Eyez. Notes :- (i) Road Stud shall be of Model “DA 971’ of make ‘DARK EYE’ or equivalent of make GREENLITE / 3M / TATA BP / Avery Dennison / Alexis / Oscar / DEV / Surya / Sharp Eyez. (ii) Reflector shall be positioned at the best eye guiding level so that drivers shall be warned from a safe distance.

S&F road safety Convex Mirror of size 800mm dia made of one piece polycarbonate lens with hood for road turning, intersection, curves, ‘T’ junction, etc, unbreakable & strong, mounted on & including 2.50 metre long vertical pole made out of 50mm bore mild steel medium grade pipe duly powder coated, fixed with adjustable clamp, pole fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 450mmx450mmx450mm deep including necessary excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling of old unserviceable / broken mirror with pole of any type & size.
