Amount

Demolition of stone/boulder masonry, laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wire mesh as in matresses/cages any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/disintegrated rock including clearing away all grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brush wood, under growth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured 1.00 metre above ground level) complete, all as specified.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth in hard/dense soil and getting out complete, all as specified.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth in soft/disintegrated rock and getting out complete, all as specified.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in ordinary rock in trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 metre in width or 10 Sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 metre including getting out the excavated rock and disposal of surplus excavated rock as directed, within a lead of 50 metre complete, all as specified.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in ordinary rock in over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 metre in width as well as 10 Sqm on plan), lift upto 1.5 metre, including getting out the excavated rock and disposal of surplus excavated rock as directed, within a lead of 50 metre complete, all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each in soft/disintegrated rock, complete, all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus excavated soft/disintegrated rock to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed complete, all as specified.

Removing of surplus excavated hard/dense soil to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed complete, all as specified.

Removing of surplus excavated soft/disintegrated rock to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed complete, all as specified.

Forming embankment from soil including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 Cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc, not exceeding 1.5 metre high from base under optimum moisture conditions to specified proctor density not less than 95 percent complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For payment purpose quantity after deduction of 5% for bulkage from measured volume of filling shall be allowed.

Hand packing with broken stone or boulders any thickness at back of the walls, over arches etc and raising (or lowering) to the required level complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2,using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels/drains/as in benching complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels/drains/as in benching complete all as specified.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped end etc. complete, all as specified.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating including use & waste of formwork complete, all as specified and as directed.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating including use & waste of formwork complete, all as specified and as directed.

Reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, including raft footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns etc and mass concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Reinforced cement concrete M-30 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses complete, all as specified and as directed.

Reinforced cement concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in floor/roof slabs etc supported on walls, column, beams etc ,complete all as specified and directed

Formwork to sides of concrete foundation, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter, for rough finished, flat surfaces of concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter for rough finished, flat surfaces of concrete complete, all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to soffits of suspened slabs not exceeding 200mm thick such as roof slabs, floor slabs, deck slabs, landing slabs and similar work, for rough finished flat surface ( horizontal or sloping), complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs window cills, concrete railings,openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work all exceeding 20cm wide complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks of class designation 150, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 mtr mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) including corbellings etc, raking out joints internally and also externally (above G.L.) for plastering and externally joints pointed flush below ground level in the same mortar as the work proceeds complete all as specified.

Walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded & solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:4 complete, all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Volume occupied by PCC bond stone shall not be measured against this item. Volume occupied by PCC bond stone shall be measured and under respective item of BOQ. 2. Weep holes pipes shall be fixed simultaneously during masonry consruction.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 40mm, as specified, of random rubble walling built from sand stone, uncoursed or brought upto courses complete, all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing/laying/wrapping of Geocomposite UV stabilized Polypropylene non woven Geo textile with rawl plug and screws using cup washers on retaining wall or wrapped on slotted drainage pipe for planar drainage for moderate installation condition, realized by thermos binding a draining core in extruded monofilaments with two filtering that may also be working as separation or protecting layers drainage composite, between two different fills, along side drains of roads, surrounds/behind gabion walls etc, supplied in the form of roll for easy transportation to site of work as per detailed specification complete all as directed and shown in drawings.

Drainage bay (filter media) 1.0 metre wide between face of retaining wall and excavated rock/soil face laid in layers not exceeding 0.50 metre high duly compacted in entire length of wall of grading (passing from seive size 37.5mm : 90-100 %, from seive size 20.00mm : 80-100 % and from sieve size 12.00mm : 0-20% ) without any sharp edges complete all as specified, shown on drawing and as directed.

Supply, lowering, assembling, jointing, and fixing in position slotted mild steel casing pipe, heavy duty of 200mm bore, wall thickness 5.4 mm conforming to IS-8110-2000 having including all jointing accessories complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Wrapping of pipe with Geo textile fabric if ordered shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ.

Material and labour for Boulder filling dry, handpacked tightly, as in wire crate apron bunds (Wire crate measured separately) complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Wire crate shall be measured and paid for separately. 2. Work of boulder filling shall be carried out from datum to the level of service road, ranging approximate height between 0 to 30 metres as shown in drawings. Bidder's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for working in such situations.

Boulder filling (Except boulders) dry, handpacked tightly, as in wire crate apron bunds (Wire crate measured separately) complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Wire crate shall be measured and paid for separately. 2. Old boulders obtained from demolition/dismantling shall be re-used. 3. Work of boulder filling (Except boulders) shall be carried out from datum to the level of service road, ranging approximate height between 0 to 30 metres as shown in drawings. Bidder's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for working in such situations.

Material and labour for Boulder pitching, laid, hand packed tightly and grouted with cement and sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Wire crate shall be measured and paid for separately. 2. Work of boulder pitching shall be carried out from datum to the level of service road, ranging approximate height between 0 to 30 metres as shown in drawings. Bidder's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for working in such situations.

Supply and fix 4mm dia galvanised steel wire, 150mm x 100mm mesh, made up into mattresses or cages, lapped, wired and placed/laid in position, binding and jointing edges with 4mm dia galvanised steel wire to form complete mattresses/cages including closing after filling complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. The mattresses/cages shall be formed by looping the wires at each intersection. 2. Stone, boulder or other filling shall be measured and paid for separately. 3. Work of galvanised steel wire made up mesh shall be carried out from datum to the level of service road, ranging approximate height between 0 to 30 metres as shown in drawings. Bidder's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for working in such situations.

PVC(SWR) pipe 110mm dia as in weep hole, embedded properly in masonry while construction complete, all as specified and directed.

Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape, required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete, all as specified and as directed.

Mild steel TMT bars 6mm to 8 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape, required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete, all as specified and as directed.

Mild steel TMT bars, 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete, all as specified.

Mild steel TMT bars, over 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete, all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brickwok or concrete surfaces, trowelled to even and smooth finish without using extra cement complete all as specified.

Raised pointing to random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto couses, in cement mortar 1:3 complete, all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new or previously untreated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50mm but not exc 100mm deep and area not exc 400 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating road formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 ton power roller/vibratory roller of similar capacity, watering as necessary including filling in hollows and depressions and consolidating to the required level, gradient and camber complete all as specified

M & L for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base (GSB) grading as per Grading II of Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 in a single layer over compacted sub grade consisting of natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the sub grade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of at least 98 % of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, Laying, compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced water mixed macadam (WMM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud ,dust, loose material, foreign material etc., sweeping with power brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 55.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of bituminous black top surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per clause No 505.3.3 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 5.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii)The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula from lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of filler i.e rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 55.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specifications entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8 -10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smoooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause No 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Note: For the purpose of arriving at Contract sum, the amount of Schedule of credit (i.e Rs 4,08,250.00) shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
