Excavation in foundation trenches ( for pipes and pits ) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting soft / hard rock or chieselling soft/ hard rock where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including, shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering, wherever required, stacking the useable and unuseable material/ soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes returing the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm ( Fifteen centimeter ) layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /un-useable materials as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of un-metalled surface to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect within all leads and lifts complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) GMS pipes of following dia and class conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-I) (latest upto date ammendments) of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 5m to 7m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS:6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00mm in thickness as per IS:2712-1998. & butt welded joints. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The laying of Pipes conform to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW Plain ended flanged pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS / ISO 3183-2007 Grade L-210 with up to date ammendments as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 5m-7m. .The pipe shall be jounted with but welding & M.S. flanges (Cost of bitt welding & MS Flanges shall be measured & paid for seperately) The M.S.Flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as mentioned as per table below conforming to IS 6392-1971 ( Latest upto date amendments ). balance joint shall be jointed with butt welding as mentioned in item No. 57 and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3 mm thick as per IS; 2712-1965. SCHEDULE B6 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHEME FOR 5 YEARS:-
The Bidder shall carry out the operation and maintenance of the scheme right from source to tail ends of the scheme. The operation & maintenance shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual of water supply & treatment (Latest addition). All the structures & other components of the scheme should be kept neat and clean; he should report the any leakages, choking of lines and other damages of the scheme to the department immediately. He should maintain log books of running of pumping machinery and Register’s for conducting water samples and consumption of chemicals & flow meter readings etc. and submit the report to the department as per the direction of the Employer. For any breakdown of the scheme, he should repair/rectify the defects immediately and put the scheme functional immediately otherwise he shall be liable to penalise for Rs. 5000/- per day for delay in repair of the scheme. He should deploy sufficient skilled/un-skilled manpower on the scheme.Periodical white washing distempering & painting of all civil structures should be carried out. He is responsible to supply sufficient quantity and quality of water to the beneficiares.
