Tightening nuts and bolts of 30 M tower and other civil works in T.E Compound at Purkaji in Muzaffarnagar Operational Area.

Amount

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. (A) Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

P/F MS galvanized ISI marked bolts, nuts and washers wherever old ones are missing/rusted in the existing towers of different sizes as required at site. The operation includes all labour, tools and plants required for fixing bolts, nuts & washers all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge.

Tightening of bolts and nuts for the entire Ground based tower and gantry including fixing of necessary missing bolts with torque resistant bolts and nuts with plain and spring washers checknuts etc.,Wherever required complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. (Rate includes the cost of tightening of existing bolts and nuts with plain washers and spring washers and checknuts , necessary scaffolding arrangement, helmets, ropes, pullies and other safety arrangements etc., complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment for missing bolts and nuts shall be made seperately under relevant item.)Note:- BSNL shall not be responsible for any mishaps, damages etc., if any, occuring during the execution of the work. The rate includes the cost for taking necessary insurance for workmen compensation and for comprehensive risk coverage. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Painting one or more coats with high gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and colour (International white and orange) as per recommendation of international Civil Aviation rules for following Galvanised structural steel towers. The rate includes the cost for taking necessary insurance for workmen compensation and for comprehensive risk coverage. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (NOTE: Rate includes painting of complete tower, platforms, antenna mount, ladder, vertical tray/gantry,, Wave guiderack, feeder cable rack, rails, lightening arrester, nuts and bolts, posts etc.) (A) 25.00 meters

Supplying of missing TOWER material of Galvanized Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, with Galvanized steel sections consisting of Angles, Flats, Plates and tubes fabricated as per approved drawing. The galvanizing shall be as per IS: 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/sqm (approximately 85 micron). The steel sections shall be of M.S.grade 'A' as per IS: 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive. The payment shall be made as per the standard structural steel tables for the bare steel sectional weights. All complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
