Repairs to canning to certain wooden furniture at CME under GE (CME) Kirkee

Amount

(A) Taking down carefully unserviceable parts of various items of furniture listed here-in-after without disturbing the adjoining parts and supply and fixing new parts made out of teak wood seasoned (first class hard wood) complete including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing (the wooden joints shall be fixed with bamboo pins and nails). All joints and fixing shall be done by in accordance with standard workmanship/ specification, wedging, glueing, providing hinges, placing ever part in-tact the disturbed portion in following situation all as specified and shown on drawing including scraping out old polished surface & polishing the wooden surfaces with two coats of french polish, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (B) The repairs and canning work will be executed where the furniture exist in different user units/ Md accns under AOR of GE (CME) Kirkee including furniture yard of BSO GE (CME) Kirkee.

Removing of old unsv18/19 mm thick prelaminated board of drawers of Bin linen multipurpose and S&F New 18/19 mm thick prelaminated particle board of exterior grade drawers with 4 mm thick teak wood beading all round wherever required, with one No. CP handle of 100mm long as directed by Engr-In- charge.

Removing of old unsv 18/19 mm thick prelaminated board of side panel, vertical and horizontal partitions of Bin linen multipurpose and S&F New 18/19 mm thick prelaminated particle board of exterior grade side panel, vertical and horizontal partitions with 4 mm thick teak wood beading all round wherever required, as per drg or as directed by Engr-In- charge.

Removing of old unsv 6 mm thick back side plywood of Bin linen multipurpose. S&F New 6 mm thick back side plywood BWP grade as per drg or as directed by Engr-In- charge.

Sofa set 5 seater (Drg No. FD-281)

Removing of unsv cushions with tapestry cloth of sofa set 5 seater and supply new cushion of 40 density 100mm thick duly covered with tapestry cloth and white inner lining. Tapestry cloth shall not less than Rs 200/metre.

Almirah Large Wooden (Drg No. DB-4116) Removing unsv wooden shelves, hasp & staple from almirah. S & F new shelves of first class Indian teak wood and hasp and staple as specified by Engr-in-charge

M & L for melamine polishing to all wooden surface exposed to view interior and exterior with spray machine after removing of existing polish and smoothening of surface applying suitable colour and wood filler (Wood sealer) wherever required to all furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series or similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and shown on drgs and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
