Repair of non-working street lights on various V3 and V4 roads of Ward No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 under Electrical Sub Division No. 2, M.C. Chandigarh

Repair of non-working street lights on various V3 & V4 roads (sector dividing roads) of Chandigarh using suitable height (as per site requirement) hydraulic crane/ boom ladder/ hydra. The non- glowing street lights, as per the list provided by respective JEs, are to be checked both from bottom jn. box of the pole & at the top of the pole for carbon and fitting is to be made functional. In case the street light fitting is defective, the fitting is to be dismantled and the working street light fitting is to be installed. ( provided by JE). The dismantled faulty street lights will be handed over to respective JEs at the end of the day. The working street lights will also be provided to the team by the JE. The job includes the cost of arranging hydraulic crane/ boom ladder/ hydra along with driver, diesel, bucket and manpower required to repair the street light at a height of 7.5-10 Mtr including managing the traffic on road by maintaining the best safety protocols. No joint in the pole wire is to be made in case pole wire get short of length. The incident of missing pole wire will not be considered in this item. It will be laid and paid in separate item. The work is of urgent nature so no time extension will be provided. The job is to be done to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Laying of HR PVC insulated 2 Core 4 mm2 Aluminium twin core flat unarmoured Cable of make KEI, Havells, Cirtina, finolex, Polycab within the already erected 9 mtr Steel tubular / Octagonal pole and within bracket fitted on pole with the help of crane. The cable connection to be made from junction box at the bottom of the pole to the street light fitting mounted on the bracket. The taping is to be done properly after laying the pole wire. The job include dismantling & re erection of fitting , bracket , managing traffic using proper precaution, making the required connector as stated above and other petty material required to complete the job to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-change.

Laying of insulated 2 core x 10mm2 aluminium twin core flat unarmoured cable to be laid overhead on pole to pole of 9 mtr or above of make finolex/ lapp/ polycab/ havell's/ Cirtina/ KEI. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-charge.
