Dear Sir,
We have read the provisions of “Percentage of Amount Linked to Safety Aspects of the cumulative total of Service Portion of the Contract, i.e. Civil + Installation/ Erection + Structural Works” in bidding documents. In terms of the requirement of the aforesaid provisions, we hereby declare the following:
1. We have priced our bid in such a manner that the component for ‘Amount linked to Safety Aspects/ compliance to Safety Rules’ is not less than the minimum % (As mentioned in IFB under Amount Linked to Safety Aspects) of the cumulative total of Service Portion of the Contract, i.e. Civil + Installation/ Erection + Structural Works.
2. Further, we declare that percentage of Amount Linked to Safety Aspects of the cumulative total of Service Portion of the Contract, i.e. Civil + Installation/ Erection + Structural Works for our bid is as mentioned below:

3. We further understand that, in case, the quoted Percentage of Amount Linked to Safety Aspects is less than the minimum % specified as per the tender documents or is left blank or the format is not submitted, in such case Employer shall retain the minimum percentage specified in the tender documents from each RA Bill.
4. We understand that no interest shall be payable on the amounts linked to Safety Aspects / Compliance to Safety Rules including aforesaid retained amount.
5. We understand that the % of amount retained / withheld towards safety aspects from each Running Bill shall be released in part or full based on safety compliance duly certified by Project Manager and Safety-in-charge on quarterly basis as per the details mentioned in Clause 20, Payment on Account/Progressive Interim Payments, Section IV, GCC of bidding documents.
