S/E of 7 Meter long Hot dipped Galvanized pole of octagonal cross-section continuously tapered made out from high tensile steel of minimum thickness 3mm complete with the base plate of minimum size 220 mm x 220 mm x 12 mm along with inbuilt lockable junction box which should be operated with single key with connectors of Elmax / Connectwell / Essen / Wago make for the cable termination and two or three terminals and one no. 6 amps. Single pole MCB for each luminaire. The diameter across from the dimensions of the base and top should be minimum 130mm and 70mm A/F (Across Face). The pole should be provided with metallic sleeve with cutting of Chandigarh ‘open hand’ mark. Sleeve should be backlit using environment proof LED modules. There should be diffused glow of open hand logo during night. Sleeve should be PU painted/ Powder coated in colour. The approx. size of the sleeve should be 1200 mm and shall be of same thickness as pole. The sleeve shall be provided at a distance of 3.5 Meter from bottom. The size of the poles and foundation bolts shall be suitable to withstand the maximum wind speed/ pressure as per IS-875. There should be no any circumferential welding on the pole. The weight of the pole should be 80 KG (Min.). The method and material shall comply with as BSEN-10025 grade S355 or equivalent poles should be hot dipped galvanized in single dip to 65 microns min. confirming to IS 2629-1966. The material and specifications of flange plate/base plate shall be as per IS 2062. The street light poles shall be as per IS 2062. The street light poles shall be erected in the existing RCC foundation with 4 nos. special foundation bolts ‘J’ type minimum M20x700mm long galvanized M.S. rod of duly threaded of minimum 20mm dia in existing RCC foundation of suitable size as per the approved drawing. The material of steel foundation belts shall be confirming to grade EN-8 exposed threaded portion of foundation bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized. G.I. PIPE BRACKET.

Supply, Fabrication and Erection of G.I. Pipe (Medium Class) bracket with suitable size of nipple for mounting the 50W LED fitting with the following specifications.

The bracket shall be made by Medium Class GI pipe of 50mmdia with an angle of inclination 105o & 2’ feet overhang.

The 50mmdia G.I. pipe shall be connected to a 100mm dia G.I. pipe 45cm long canopy with top end closed with 14 G MS sheet to avoid entry of rain water in the pole.

The 50mm dia pipe shall be welded at a distance of 2” from the close end with 100mm dia GI pipe.

The canopy shall be slipped over the top section of octagonal pole & fixed with 2 Nos. ½ “ dia GI nuts & bolts.

A triangular 14 GMS sheet piece of 2” shall be welded between two pipes.

GI pipe of 32mm dia shall be welded along the arm of bracket for support and the weight of GI pipe.

The bracket should have also the provision of suitable size of nipple for fixing of the fitting. The job includes the cost of all labour and petty material required to complete the job to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

The GI pipe should B-Class ISI marked make only.

The sample of bracket shall be got approved from the Engineer in Charge, before installation at site.

The make of Medium Class G.I pipe should be Jindal, SAIL & Tata make only.

Single arm bracket made out of 2” dia G.I. pipe 2’ overhang.

Double Arm Bracket made out of 3” dia. G.I Pipe with 2’ overhang.

Supply and erection of sheet metal cubical pedestal of suitable dimensions made from 50 mm X 50 mm X 6 mm thick M.S angle iron frame, covered with 1.6 mm thick M.S. sheet duly welded on five sides and front side hinged complete with locking arrangement with 4 Nos. switchgear supporting members each of M.S. flat 50 mm X 6 mm thick of suitable length duly welded. The cubical pedestal shall have 4 Nos. legs of 50 mm X 50 mm X 6 mm each 60 cm long M.S. angle iron each long including painting, bonding to the existing earth etc. the same shall be erected in the 1:2:4 cement concrete plat-form of suitable dimensions 15cm high form ground level and 45 mm thick. The cubical pedestal shall be 15 cm from the top of cement concrete platform.
