M&L for fine and clean sand (river sand) free from sharp materials in trenches for cushioning of cable 8 cm thick under cable and 15 cm thick over the cable including gently punning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The total thickness of sand shall be measured 18 cm after punning.

Supply, erecting and fixing in replacement of true vertical position, prestressed concrete pole 11.0 mtr long 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 152 mmx 279 mm at bottom class 10 (Numbering of the poles shall be done with synthetic enameled painted letter of shape & size) etc complete all as directed. Note :- Excavation incl earth work and PCC foundation will be measured and paid separately. The old unserviceable pole obtained from dismanting shall be remove by the contractor form cantt area/MOD. If the contractor has not removed the dismantled item a penality of Rs.500.00 per pole will be charged from the contractor as a penality complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation filling for erection of pole and mass concrete for poles all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation filling for erection of pole/fncing post/stay and mass concrete including form work for poles all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in coping etc including form work for poles all as specified and directed.

S & F of cable path indicator made up of precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (TMT bars 6 mm dia) using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate of size 650X400 X 50 mm duly enamel paint red/brown colour and marked as HT/LT cable as directed and installed at 400 mm above and 250 mm below ground level complete all as specified and directed. Note - Cost of earth work & PCC included in the quoted rate.

M & L for taking down of unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any description /size & in any position from existing HT poles or lines complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out of unserviceable insulators of any type and any position from HT poles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for taking down of existing unserviceable cross arms, mild steel channel or angle sections etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600X600X6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.40 mtr below the ground level connected to galvanised iron strip of 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts nuts check nuts & washers of galvanised iron or steel ,surrounded by charcoal of coke and salt, protected by GI pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) and making chamber of PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate and coping shall be in PCC(1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, 50 mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 80 mm c/c boath ways including excavation and earth work and removal of surplus soil to distance n exc 50 m complete all shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part- 2010 complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Note : 1. RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-I , 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 KG/sqmm in lieu of CI cover. 2. Charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate inside earth pit . On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance is not achieved , the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to obtain the desired earth values less than 2 ohms.

M&L for earthing complete including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES SSR Part-1 connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanised iron 40 mm dia. light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm ore medium grade PCC pipt with pre cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt funnel etc. complete all as directed. Note : The conctrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 40 mm thick PCC slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm TMT bars on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES SSR Part-1 (ii) PCC pits shall be provided atleast 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbows etc shall be deemed to included in the quoted rate.
