Improvement and Hotmixing of Rural road for a length of 6.875Km for Siolim Constituency of Bardez Taluka

Earthwork in excavation of foundation of structures of culverts,abntments piers, retaining walls etc. in all types of Strata comprising of any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, murrum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock etc soft rock, ordinary rock or disintegrated rock, fissured shattered /decomposed rock or weathered rock all such other materials as described under Appendix 'A' to these specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) or any approved method or methods as the case may be convenient or permitted inclusive of blasting, chiseling and wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist,saturated, submerged, foul condition etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge all complete including dressing of sides ramming of bottom including all leads and lifts including getting out the excavated soil as directed barricading danger lighting guarding and the departmental officers as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious matte, dressing of sides and bottom, back filling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work upto 3.00 m depth as per MORTH Specification 304 EXCLUDING DEWATERING. Ordinary Soil Meachanical Means.

Rubble packing, with hard laterite stone under floors including watering rammimg and consolidating etc.in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing : All Works upto Plinthy level

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for: i) Foundations, Footings, Bases for columns and mass concrete.

Transportation of Excavated material

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen grade of 80/100 or bitumen emulsion using pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per MoRT&H specifications clause 503. Bitumen 80/100@ 0.20 kg/sq.m

Providing and laying bituminious concrete with 40-60 TPH Drum Mix type Hhot mix plant producing an average output of 50 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminious binder to mix with filler, transporting the hotmix to work site, with all leads laying with a hydrostatic/hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, using antistripping agent rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per MoRT&H Specifications Clause 509. Grade-II (13mm nominal size)@6.0% Bitumen of grade 60/70 ; I) Antistripping agent @ 0.5% of Bitumen content

Supplying of laterite stone soling of size 150-200 mm size and murrum having P.I. Value not more than 6 and laying including packing with smaller stones and consolidation with power road roller including spreading, watering and consolidation of binding material etc.(Measurements shall be considered on finished item) .

Providing and laying 50mm(consolidated thickness)full grout using granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 6.00 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. grouting with hot bitumen straight run bitumen(or with such bituminous material of grade and type as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge)at 5.0kg. per sq. m. binding with key aggregate of granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 1.5 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. including Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminious surface laid with F.E loader with 1 Cu.m. bucket capacity to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A seal coat with 0.98 kg/sqm of bitumen of grade as per MoRT&H specifications clause 513.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC : 35. The finished surface to be level uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH Specification 803
