Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports for plane surfaces in foundation and basement for reinforced cement concrete works such as column footing, plinth beam, grade beam, stair case step, bed block etc. which require only normal strutting using M.S. sheets of size 90cmx60cm BG 10 gauge of stiffened and welded with mild steel angles of size 25mmx25mmx3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x6.50cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by the casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre at suitable intervals etc. complying with standard specification. (The payment for centering shall be made only after the concrete is laid).

Supplying and erecting centering for plane surfaces such as RCC Floor/Roof Beam, Lintels, Cantilever Beams, Bed Blocks etc.. with necessary supports and strutting upto 4.90m to 5.50m height in all floors with all cross bracings using MS Sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle of Size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over Steel adjustable Span of Size 2m x 2m(expandable upto 3.60m) and Silver Oak Joists of Size 10 x 5 cm spaced at 50cm to 60cm c/c and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick) Spaced at not more than 50 to 60cm c/c , etc complete complying with standard specifications. Supplying and erecting Centering for curved RCC Beam surfaces above 3.60m to up to 4.90m height etc complete complying with standard specifications. Steel adjustable span and Steel Adjustable telescopic props shall be provided as directed by the departmental Officers. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid).

Supplying and erecting centering for plane surfaces such as RCC Floor Slab, Roof Slab, Loft, Landing Slabs, etc with necessary supports and strutting upto 3.60 to 4.90 m height in all floors with all cross bracings using MS Sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle of Size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over steel adjustable span of size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick) , etc complete complying with standard specifications. Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports For plane surfaces such as rectangular or square RCC columns etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle size 40mm x 40mm x 5 mm and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick).etc..complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. Steel Adjustable telescopic props shall be provided as directed by the departmental Officers. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid).

For circular columns

Providing and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-30 Grade in accordance with IS:456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 400 kg/mᶾ and maximum water cement ratio of 0.45, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5.0 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m.) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade by insitu machine mix concrete adopting weighing batch method in accordance with IS 456 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 Cu.m) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cu.m) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials)

For Foundation and Basement.

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild steel or Ribbed Tor steel rods for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc. complete complying with standard specification. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire)

Providing Anti-termite treatment to soil adjecent and under building foundation, plinth periphery of the building by application of chemicals of IS 6313 Part I to IV in stages to suit the progress of work consist as per the detailed specification as below. (Measurements taken for the plinth area for the purpose of payment) including breaking of termite mounds, making holes with crow bar, closing the holes after the treatment and including cost of chemicals, labour charges, transport and storing, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers. (The chemical should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on work).

Stage-1: Spraying anti-termite chemical solution for the foundation before laying concrete, in bottom and sides of foundation.

Stage-2: Spraying anti-termite chemical solution to the grade beam level, spraying has to done for the grade beam, brick masonry contact with the back fill earth.

Stage-3: Spraying anti-termite chemical solution on the sand for the flooring before laying the flooring concrete. This treatment has to be carried out on the sand filling by making holes with crow bar to a depth of 60cms and at 60cms intervals on both direction and at junction of wall and flooring thoroughout.

Stage-4: Spraying anti-termite chemical solution alround building outside by making holes through bar before laying plinth protection and the holes to be closed after the treatment.

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:6 (One cement and Six sand) using best quality of II class Ground moulded chamber burnt bricks of size 9" x 4 3/8" x 2 3/4" for superstructure including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifiction.

Lime Concrete 1:2:5 (One lime, two sand and five brick jelly) using 40mm gauge brick jelly for flooring including laying, consolidating, finishing, rendering the top surface rough to receive the floor finish, curing etc. complete complying with standard specification. (For flooring in toilet partions except water closet portions).

Providing,mixing,laying polymer based water proofing treatment for the sunken toilet by applying cement based,flexible,water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645, to a thickness of 1mm of the prepared surface of the roof slab/floor slab as per the specification mentioned above providing cement mortar1:3,water proofing cover plaster toa thickness of12mm over the membrane coating with administrative of approved make .Rate quated inclusive of preparation of surface which includes cleaning of surface polymer mortar curing labour tools and equipments etc Rate inclusive of cement,sand required for the treatment,the cost and labours for fixing 25mm dia pressure pipes 15kg/cm2 to alengthof 45cm for drip pipes etc complete.

Paving the floor with best quality Heritage pattern Cement tile of Bharat tiles brand of size 254 x 254 mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed with the white cement mixed same colour pigments etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The design of the tiles should be got approved by the Architect before use on works)

Paving the floor with best approved quality fine polished Granite Stone Slabs of size 1200 x 600 of 18 / 20mm thick of Jet Black with machine cut edges laid over a cement mortar bed of 20mm thick using cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) fixing the slabs with required cement slurry and laid in true right angles with minimum possible width of joints and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with mathcing colouring pigments etc., The granite stone slabs and other materials to be used shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer concerned before use on work, etc., complete as per standard speicification.

Flooring with following ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 6 mm laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)

Dadooing the walls with best approved quality with printed design colour glazed tiles of size 300mm x 450mm x 8mm set in Cement Mortar 1:2 (One Cement and Two sand) 10 mm thick and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.40 Kg./Sq.M. neatly in all floors, curing, etc., complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Weathering course in brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be used) the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12-1/2 by volume and laid over the RCC roof slab in a single layer of required design, slope and finished thickness by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water, etc., complete as per standard specification and as directed by the deparmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230 mm x 230 mm x 18 mm of apporved quality in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 12 mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS at 2% by weight of cement used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with the same cement mortar mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and Fixing Pelmet on the walls as per drawings and specification. Pelmet to be made using 12mm water and termite proof plywood cut and made into desired shape and size and fixed on to the wall on aluminum frame work, and finished using Interior emulsion, colour and finish as specified by the architect/engineer in charge.

Finishing the top of slopped roof, sun-shade with Mangalore Tiles of approved quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 20mm thick mixed with WPC at 2% by weight of cement used and top pointed with the same red oxide mixed mortar etc complete, Rates including the Teak Wood Reepers 50x25mm and Wooden Eaves Board as design complying with standard specifications

Providing and Fixing of Precast terracotta balustrade spaced at 300mm c/c between 230 mm high brickwork above and below the balustrade and Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and five sand),12mm thick top and bottom of precast jally and as per drwgs and specification, The rate inclusive of all materials, labour power and conveyance of materials to the work site, loading & unloading etc., and as per drawing and design by the Departmetnal Officers and All the materials to be used shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer concerned before use on work, etc., complete as per standard speicification.

Art Plaster: using 1:3 Cement Mortar and finishing it with fine mortar using brick masonry set in 1:0.5: 3 cement mortar, plastered with 1:3 CM finished with 1:2 fine ground CM. for columns and fanlights

Providing plinth protection with a bed of 100 mm thick PCC (1:5:10) using 40 mm size Granite and on bed of PCC - Granolithic concrete flooring 40 mm thick using 6 mm to 12 mm size hard granite machine crushed metal laid over CC bed already laid, in alternative panels of size not exceeding 1.5 x 1.5 Mts. And finishing the top surface to required smoothness and slopes including grooves, thread lining as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including cast and conveyance of all materials to size including seigniorage charges, sales & other taxes on all materials and operational & incidental and labour charges like mixing of cement concrete, laying, curing, lift charges etc., and Overheads & Contractors profit complete including cost of CC bed for finished item of work.

Providing Cornices with moulding, decorative bands using cement mortar (1:3 Cement Mortar and finishing it with fine mortar using brick masonry set in 1:0.5: 3 Cement mortar, plastered with 1:3 CM finished with 1:2 fine ground CM) including inserting brick pieces, making templates to match the original work etc complete up to 450 mm thick/wide

Providing and Fixing false rafters on the RCC ceiling as per drwgs and specification. False rafter to be made using 12 mm water and termite proof plywood cut and made into desired shape and size and fitted with teak wood veneer, and fixed onto the ceiling using screws. and finished using French polish, colour and finish as specified by the architect/engineer in charge.

Supplying and fixing in position best approved of ISI quality PVC rain water down fall pipes of differnet dia having a pressure of 4 Kg./Sq.cm including cost of necessry PVC shoe, PVC bend, gratings of required diameter and special clamps, brass screws, nails, etc. The rate is to include cost of removable iron grating of appropriate size the size of teak wood plug to be used is 150 x 25 mm in front and 200 x 75 mm in rear (wall side) with a depth of 100 mm. The pipe is to be fixed by means of 'U' clamps ad screwed to the plugs to the type of 'U' clamps at the centre of the pipe to be fixed and as directed by the departmental officers.

Teakwood wrought & putup for joist, beam, rafters and purlins,etc., which are in full length new member placed for supporting the Madras Terrace roof/ Mangalore tiles roof or any other area in all floor as directed by the departmental officers by using well seasoned superior quality and approved variety of teakwood for heritage building work including fixing of iron holdfasts incase of doors, windows and ventilators etc.,and excluding cost of holdfasts and making necessary size holes in the masonry to receive the ends of wooden joists, beams, etc., all fixtures and fastenings etc., complete. Item to include all moulding and chamber to be made as per original design indicated by the Engineer In Charge. (The rate includes the cost of teakwood, labour charges for wrought and putup to the existing clue/design, fixing in position to true alignment and gradient wherever necessary. Complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers (sample of teakwood to be shown to the Executive Engineer concerned for approval before use on work). Application of Solignum on the wooden surface should also be done. In all floors

Supplying and fixing of Teak wood panelled door with door frame shutter two leaves shutter of size 0.70x3.00 using Teak wood scantling of thickness of 0.04m alround and centere and the panels should be covered with 12mm thick Teak wood planks and the shutter and door frame thickness 0.10m x 0.12m should be fixed in position with necessary furniture fitting such as 6-Nos cost of brass butt hinges 6” long, 4-Nos brass tower bolt 3”-00”, brass aldrop 10” with necessary screws and nails and painting the door shutter with one of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing fully glazed shutters for windows openable type by using well seasoned teakwood of superior quality as per the original design and pattern instructed by the Engineer In Charge. The window shutter is made of vertical styles of size 80mm x 30mm. Both top and bottom rail is of size 80mm x 30mm. The window shutter panels is covered with 4mm thick plain glass which is fixed with teakwood reepers scantling of size 35mm x 30mm on both sides and the glass panel is divided into 6 parts. Item to also include making all the mouldings and design of the panels as in the existing evidence. Item to include complete finishing of the shutters as directed by the departmental officers.(The rate inclusive of cost of all teakwood materials, labour wrought and putup of door shutters, cost of all furniture fittings, cost of 4mm thick plain glass, labour charges for fixing the shutters in position etc., complete complying with standard specifications)

Supplying the damaged teak wood ornamental hand rail in stair case and verandha portion with superior quality of teak wood and kadasal work in all the members, the top member of size 8 x 6 cm with curved surface, in bottom member of size 10 x 8 cm, the internal vertical supports are 6.5 x 6.5 cm, the internal bracing and design members of side with 2.50 x 2.50 cm with complete kadasal works, the rate inclusive of cost teak wood, skilled labour charges, necessary screws, nails, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Louvered Ventilators of from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile size of 60 x 78mm both profiles are reinforced with GI/1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profile are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with all over the edges of frame and shutter. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. Radiations pin headed glass 4mm thick should be provided in the louvers. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames. The ventilator should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work.

Supplying and fixing MS grills for doors, windows and ventilators of approved design and as directed by the departmental officers including cost of MS grills labour charges and cost of one of red oxide primer coat etc., complete complying with std. specification.

Special ceiling plastering and finishing the exposed surface of RCC items of work such as slabs, beams, sunshades, facia, canopy slab, staircase waist slab, landing slab etc. with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 10 mm thick including hacking the surfaces and providing Cement Mortar nosing, beading for sunshades, staircases, steps, landing slabs and curing, etc. in all floors complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers

Plastering with cement mortar 1:5 (One cement and five sand) 12mm thick in all floors including finishing neatly curing etc. complete complying with standard specification.

White washing two coats with freshly burnt white shell lime in all floors including cost of lime, blue powder fevicol type gum, brushes, scaffolding charges, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Painting walls with two coats of Plastic emulsion paint use primer in all floors using best freshlyl burnt white shell lime and best quality approved variety of colouring pigments, fevical type gum, brushes, scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. Mineral colouring pigments not affected by lime should only be used (Stainers and colour solutions should not be used).

Painting the wall with two coats of Texture Finish Paint including labour charges of cement plastered wall surface ect., complete complying with standard specification.

Polishing the teak wood door with two coats of best French (Lac) polish with approved quality and brand over a coat of bee's waxing including preparing the wooden surface to receive polishing, etc., complete complying as per the standard specifications. (The make, quality and colour of french polish, bees vax should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Varnishing the new wood work with two coats of best melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc.. The rate is inclusive the cost of all material, labour charges and finishing neatly etc., complete compluing with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors excluding cost of priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Supplying and installation of Anutone / Woodfit / Saint Gobian / Equivalent Brand of Acoustic Fabric Wall Panelling of stretch fabric NRC wall fabric system by using FR Grade NRC fabric of size 1400mm width shall be stretched by using CC 25 with infill of synth pf polywool 10 X 25 mm thick, rigid vinyl stretch tracks half wrap / full wrap 15mm (FS15) and midseam 15mm (FS15), strand board, synth PF infill with requisite accessories & tools. CC 50mm is first installed on the wall along with the marking lines with metal fasteners inserted at 300mm centers. FS15 tracks to be installed on wooden base, after applying stick S7 adhesive on both surfaces for a true and continuous secure grip, and heavyduty fasteners at 150mm centers on one / both sides of stretch tracks. Strand square edge magnesite bonded pinewood fiber panels of size 600 x 2400 x 20mm having density 400 kg / m3, weight 4 kg which is fixed to wall with suitable fasteners. Sound synth PF polywool 10 x 25mm thick adhered on strand panel by using Stick 7 adhesive. Fabric of width 1400mm is then aligned to the stretch tracks by following the fabric thread line or pattern. The fabric is stretched and tucked into the stretch tracks and secure into the locking jaws so that it will be smooth, free of wrinkles with the tucking tools. The systems to achieve noise reduction coefficient not less than 0.85 NRC, so as to have an neat appearance as directed by the department offices. The cost includes, cost of material, cost of labour, scaffolding, transportation, conveyance, etc., complying to standard specication. (AV room)

Post Tensioning Work: Design and execution of post tensioning work, including decoiling, the strands, cutting to the required lengths, supplying, laying of HT strands sheathing (GI corrugated ducts 0.3mm thick) jointing with couplers and inserting the strands, profiling, fixing liveend anchorages, including supply of stressing anchorages, suitable for 5-5 & 5-4 tendons, grout vents, making dead end anchorages, including flowering the strands, fixing tendon support bars, supervising the fixing of antibursting reinforcement, stressing the cables, end trimming, grouting the cables, with cement slurry, mixed with admixtures with required tools, plants, and machineries, and consumables etc. (Shuttering, concreting & reinforcement steel shall be paid under respective items) at all heights including all leads, lifts, coordination, with the post- tensioning agency, preparation of drawings, obtaining approval from the Employer / Architect etc. Rate to include providing water, power, cement and admixture for grouting, packing of sheathing and anchorages blockings, filling of recess pockets after stressing using grouts (cement slurry mixed with approved admixtures) including providing access to post tensioning at all heights including all leads, lifts etc., all complete and as approved and as directed by the Employer Architect but excluding shuttering, concreting & reinforcement steel which shall be payable under respective items separately.
