M & L for Preparing old bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc . sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface by compressed air through mechanical means to remove all loose dirt etc, and providing Premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete DAC) with grading 1 of IRC, 50mm thick (consolidated thickness) in single layer using bitumen of grade PMB 40 with 5.4% minimum binder content (Marshal stability 1200 Kg) mixed by weight of total mix using hot mix plant spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using necessary mechanical sensor paver and tandem vibratory roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne capacity over tack coat of Paving Bitumen VG-10 @ 3kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. (b) The marshall stability shall be a minimum of 1200 kg. (c) DAC shall be as per MORTH specifications as detailed in particular specifications. Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in any position not other wise specifically provided for (PQC and Hardstandings) all as directed.

Excavation over area in hard dense soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of demolished PQC obtained from item No 4.00, not exceeding 5 Km and deposited as directed

Removing excavated material exc 1.5 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed.

M&L 200 mm GSB V shingle or gravel spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed

M&L 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in two equal layers 75 mm thick each layer with coarse aggregates (Granite trap Basalt) spread, watered, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 125 mm thick dry lean concrete with 7 days compressive strength 10 mpa by paver rolling etc complete.

Rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonne curing and compacting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 10 mm thick sand cushioning under HDPE sheet complete all as specified

Supply & lay one layer HDPE sheet 400 micron thickness complete all as specified. Note :- Nothing will be paid extra for overlapping of sheet.

M & L for Cement Concrete work in pavement /Hard standing of flexural strength 45 Kg /Per Sq cm in field using minimum 400 Kg of cement per Cum as per design mix , 225mm thickness of concrete using non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12-18mm specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, equivalant diametre 15 to 40 micron, minimum melting temperature 240 degree centigrade and minimum tensile strength 300Mpa as per manufactureres instructions, finishing surface of concrete pavement by texturing complete. NOTE: non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres will be measured and paid separartely.

Supply only non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12 - 18mm specific gravity 1.34 to1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, equivalant diametre 15to 40 micron, minimum melting temperature 240 degree centigrade and minimum tensile strength 300Mpa as per manufacturers instructions.

Forming expansion joint 225 mm deep x 25 mm wide with back up rod of 30 mm filled with polyeurothene based sealing compound including 10 years performance guarantee complete all as shown in Drgs and as specified.

Taking down old unserviceable pipes/ cable covers and connected items and supply and lay new High density polyethylene HDPE pipes of 50 mm dia PN 6 kgf/sqcm PE80 including all fittings (bends, Tees, Elbows, sockets, etc) as required on site, complete all as specified and directed. (For runway light cable protection.) Note:Excavation, return filling and removal of any type of soil/ strata shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and install, testing and commissioning of LT panel board cubical type floor mounted made with 2mm thick powder coated factory fabricated CRCA sheet with copper bus bar for phase and neutral, 300 Amps, of suitable size mounted on hygroscopic insulator housed in separate bus bar chamber covered with coloured PVC heat shrinkable sleeve with necessary bus bar tappings copper control wiring of required size connecting the cable with necessary cable glands, lugs etc independent chamber to accommodate the MCCB, proper arrangement for ventilation complete all as specified with and including the following :- (a) MCCB FP 200A 25 KA- 01 No (b) MCCB FP 63A 25 KA- 03 Nos (c) Digital Multifunctional meter (as Volt meter, Ampers meter, frequency meter) including CT`s, setector switch etc- 01 Nos (d) LED phase indication lamps RYB - 1 Set.

Supply, Installation, testing & Commissioning new CI transformer housing box for middle marker light including excavation, earthwork, PCC etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply ,installation, testing and commissioning new isolating transformer 5 KV grade 50 Hz series type moulded with neoprene type rubber with primary and secondary connector lead as specified for middle marker light 200W 6.6 A, all as directed

Excavation in trenches/ existing cable ducts .etc. in any type of soil/ strata and soil conditions not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for laying of cables, protection pipes and foundations etc and getting it out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exc 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting existing flexible pavement of width 70mm and depth 150mm using diamond cutter from paved shoulder edge to edge of the runway (15.5m approx) and carefully removing old flexible pavement material by means of chiselling / demolition including disposal outside MOD land including supply and laying of 40mm dia heavy duty GI pipe ( approx 16m ) length with GI fittings elbow 1No and T joints as required) etc complete suitably plugged on both sides with cast iron caps. The 2mm dia stainless steel wire shall be inserted in the Pipe and anchored at the ends . GI pipe shall be laid over 25mm thick sand layer and balance portion filled with DBM II duly compacted and rolled to desired proctor density of 98% and laying SAMI layer over 1m wide glass grid complete including removing of existing conduit pipe all as specified and directed by GE. Note : 1.The work shall be carried out in secondary runway before laying the correction layer i.e DBM 2.Glass grid shall conform to requirements given in Table 700-17 of MoRTH having tensile strength of 100 KN/M.
