Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, laying cables erection of poles / struts/stays etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan, not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to PVC underground cable with tibba sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cable covers class HV, type I, peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling and taking down existing HT insulators of any type and size as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

S&F in repair of Disc type insulator, Porcelain, vitreous brown, white or green single disc assembly, 145mm high & 255mm dia ball & socket type, for tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair of pin type, porcelain, vitreous brown, white or green insulator (HT), 150mm height and 150 mm dia, 11000 volts grade including one galvanised MS spindle, two GI washers and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Surface Dressing/ Cleaning of various 11/33 KV sub-stations free from vegetation of any type including trimming of tree branches, bushes, creepers, etc. also on fencing complete all as specified & directed. Note: The frequency of surface dressing shall not be less than 1 months

S&F in repair post insulator with GI post for holding fixed /moving contact assembly suitable for Air break gang operated switch 200 Amps, 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fixing or laying in repair galvanised steel tubing light grade 100mm bore (ISI marked) for protection of underground cable on poles / walls under road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring of existing road/path for laying of GI pipe size 100mm dia protection for UG cable including making good disturbed area/surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Air break, gang operated, triple pole switch 200 Amp rating complete with fuse carriers and HT fuse elements., outdoor, horizontal / vertical mounting type (ISI marked), mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with locking arrangements including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply including necessary electric connections including taking down old unserviceable items complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs lightening arrestor expulsion type complete with all fittings transmission class discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Dehydration /filtration of transformer oil existing transformer installed at site with portable plant to improve the dielectric strength 60 KV including testing of dielectric strength after dehydration and filtration at site complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Pre-heated oil shall be topped up as required at site before the process; oil will be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply & filling of transformer oil in transformer installed in situ at site for toping up the level of oil having dielectric strength 60-80 KV during filling after initial filtration conforming to IS-335 complete all as specified and directed. MAKE- POWER / INSOLE / UNIVERSAL / SAVITA NOTE: Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed container and empty barrel of transformer oil will be deposited by contractor in E/M store yard.

M&L for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick, with earth strip 4 mm dia GI wire protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 15 mm bore light grade with Watering pipe 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The rate of earthing shall be inclusive of necessary earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel, PCC pit and RCC cover with handle complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I, etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for trimming of tree branches upto 75 mm dia to clear the route of HT/LT over head lines upto 3m from the conductor including removing the cut branches from site and depositing at places n exc 50m etc complete all as specified and directed Note :- 1. One span from pole to pole of distance not exceeding 30 metres shall be considered as one unit. 2. The frequency of trimming of tree branches shall not be less than 3 months

M&L for painting two coat of aluminium paint on steel structural members of HT 2 pole structure/ HT steel structure (for busbar and GOD of single transformer) over one coat of red oxide with brush/spray at site including scrapping/ removing paint from old surfaces and preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting two coat of aluminium paint on members of HT steel structure (for busbar and GOD at Haldighati sub Stn complete and PH 4) over one coat of red oxide with brush/spray at site including scrapping and preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting to HT PCC poles with two coats yellow and white paint alternatively all around the pole from the bottom, as strips for identification of pole. The height of the strip shall be 30cm and number of strips shall be 05 Nos complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting of defective transformer (indoor/outdoor type) 11KV/433 volts copper/ Aluminium wound from power mains and dismantling the same from 2/4 pole structure/ platform mounted and transporting the same to authorised workshop and opening the transformer cover, draining out of transformer oil and keep safely for reuse after filtration, assembling, removing of the burnt parts ie tape, paper insulating strings etc gently and carefully, washing of the dust, rust and dirt from all parts including taking out HT/LT leg coil core tank and cooling tubes, painting the inner side tank by zinc chromate paint and preparing the same for re-assembling after carrying out required repair and installation on existing 2/4 pole structure/ platform with necessary fixing arrangement including connecting up electrically, commissioning and testing all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and specified in particular specification of the following capacity :-

(a) 63 KVA to 125 KVA capacity

(b) 150 KVA to 250 KVA capacity

(c) 315 KVA to 400 KVA capacity

NOTE for item No 15.01 to 15.03 (i) Repair cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rate; and Unserviceable items required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The burnt transformer oil shall be contractor property & any new oil shall be measured and paid separately under respective item. (iii) The coils and the oil shall be inspected for repair/replacement by department rep.

S&F in repair breather with silica gel in replacement (for transformer of any type/cap) with end fitting complete all as specified and directed

M&L for dismantling unserviceable HT gang operated air break switch any type & size including all accessories from HT two/four pole structure for repair/replacement incl Oiling, Greasing and re-assembling the same in position including connection after necessary repair/replacement of u/s part complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Repair/replacement with new spares/ components shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces, removing, cleaning of oil, grease etc. and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of grey colour by spray complete all as specified and directed of following capacity transformer :-

(a) 63 KVA to 125 KVA capacity

(b) 150 KVA to 250 KVA capacity

(c) 315 KVA to 400 KVA capacity

M&L for refilling fresh Silica Gel into the breather including removal of unserviceable item complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying, stone aggregate of 40-65mm size, upto thickness of 40 cm laid over & including 30cm thick sand cushioning (river sand) at sub-stations/electric yards including levelling etc. The aggregate and sand should be supported by the bricks coloured in white respectively at the edge of the perimeter of switchyard/installation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- It should be ensured that before laying stone aggregate and sand the grass or unwanted bushes shall be treated checmically to remove the unwanted vegetation and surface of the switchyard/installation should be made totally free from the existing stone aggregates without destroying the cable, earthpit etc at the installation.

Supply & Fix, fixed contact of Brass Alloy single pole including fastners suitable for air break gang operated switch of cap 200/400 amp 3 pole 11000 volts grade including taking down/dismantling old item etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix, moving contact of Brass Alloy single pole including fastners suitable for air break gang operated switch of cap 200/400 amp 3 pole 11000 volts grade including taking down/dismantling old item etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix, flexible Copper strip including fastners suitable for air break gang operated switch 200/400 amps 11000 volts for single phase including taking down/dismantling old item etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for shifting of trolly mounted transformer of any capacity from any location within the station to location of defective transformer and connecting with HT 11 KV incomer from existing source and LT outgoing cables etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting the electric supply connections of RMU of any capacity from any location including shifting and refixing within the station to new location and connecting with HT 11 KV incomer and out goings from existing source complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Opening of transformer cover at site for carrying out repairs such as replacement of bushing rods gasket etc and re-assembling with new gasket after carrying out required repairs complete all as specified and directed (Note :- Bushing bushing rods shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply & fixing HT Jumper not more than 2 m long in repair /replacement on existing OH circuit/two Pole /four Pole Structure etc including ACSR Conductor (Weasel) using PG clamp /lugs, fastners etc as per site requirment complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of cross arms, bracing, support, clamps, nut & bolt of mild steel channel or angle sections etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rolled Mild Steel structures such as angles, flats, channels, bars, sheets, pipes etc of grade GDE Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0 , for framed work, posts, gates, Doors etc. all necessary cutting, welding, bolting, riveting, drilling holes, punching, splitting ends to secure chain link fencing or fixing of barbed wire to posts or for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, for door fittings including gusset plates, rails, braces, hinges, bolts, latches etc. complete including taking down old item all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Nuts, bolts and washers shall be inclusive in the quoted rate.

M&L for fault finding in U/G cable using fault locating machine on requirement for 33/11 KV HT cables of any type/size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for calibration and setting of protection relays of any make or type fitted on11 KV VCBs (details given below) as per IS and code of practice to ensure NO ERROR including setting for each fault over current with trip time delay in accordance to feeder load and other parameters of site including synchronizing of the setting to ensure that fault shall not travel to nearest source feeder including minor repairs, replacement of wiring etc, if required complete all as specified and directed. (a) Incoming VCB 11 KV – 03 Nos (b) Outgoing VCB 11 KV – 09 Nos

NOTE :- (i) The calibration and setting must be completed with in 30 days from the date of commencement to avoid any major break down. (ii) The calibration and setting shall be carried out by only qualified and experienced engineer. (iii) The relay setting shall be carried out once in a three month as per load and site conditions to avoid and any fault travel to next adjacent source breaker and shall be monitored regularly. (iv) For payment purpose the payment for calibration & setting of relay twice in 06 months is considered as each job. The cost of monitoring is also included in the item rate.

M&L for disconnecting electric supply and overhauling / servicing of VCB of any make/ capacity including trolley of VCB, electro mechanical components, etc. by cleaning & removing dust particles from body, isolating contacts, moving parts, particularly from bus bar chamber, gear mechanism, motor charge spring mechanism, tightening of nuts & bolts of all components in entire mechanism and re-inserting VCB in trolley, re-connecting to load, re-commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of fixing of parts replaced, deemed to be included in quoted rate.

All as per Item No. 44 above but RMU without trolley
