Procurement will be done only from those firms which are registered with PCMD/NR for part 2 items.

1. For being eligible for bulk order, Registered firm must either be OEM or should submit tender specific authorization from the OEM.

In keeping with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, as amended, and in terms of clause 2.4.2, 2.4.5 and 2.4.6 of Instructions to Tenderers Rev. 1.21 April 2024 (along with all its correction slips, if any), Public procurement of this item is restricted to Class - I and Class-II local suppliers only. Thus, only class-I and class-II local supplier as defined under the public procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, as amended shall be eligible to bid in this tender. Offer from vendors who do not quality to be Class - I (Local Content: minimum 50%) or Class-II (Local Content: minimum 20% but less than 50%) local supplier, shall be summarily rejected and, therefore, such vendors should not participate in the tender. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class - I or Class-II local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender, such a bidder does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the bidder on this account and items which are exempted under GTE list are also exempted from above criteria. NOTE -: As per Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, procurements where the estimated value to be procured is less than Rs 5 lakhs shall be exempt from this Order .

Firm must attach List of parts/components to be included in CMC. Firm must attach list of parts not covered under CMC with rates and List of consumables along with their rate,failing which offer will be rejected. If there are no consumable required for the machine, firm must attach a declaration that "no consumables are required for the quoted machine".

CMC charges should be quoted on OEM letter head.

CMC Charges for five year (05 year) after expiry of 02 years warranty period.
