Annual Rate contract for repairs/ replacement to TATA make Departmental Water Tanker for the financial year 2026-27 under Tanker Services.

Overhauling of the 4 cylinder engine of the departmental truck by way of detaching engine block from other parts, and then lowering the engine from the chassis with the help of chain block orhoist crane at reputed workshop and dismantling the engine, cleaning all the parts with kerosene oil and dhoti cloth, removing the damaged/worn-out parts along with all other incidental works Tools and tackles with skilled labours thereof included.

Machining job to be carried out by way of cutting / removing of the old / worn-out sleeves from the cylinder block, then grinding of the surfaces of the cylinder block. Fitting of new sleeves set including finishing and honing of the sleeves, so that the pistons fit in the sleeves with proper clearance for piston rings. Grinding of crank shaft and cam shaft assemblies to next size and finishing of the same. Machining job is also to be carried out for setting of main and big end bearing bushes, setting of cam rod bushes and connecting rod bushes, piston pin bushes and other related items along with all other incidental works tools and tackles with skilled labours thereof included.

Lifting of Engine Block safely from the vehicle by hyd. crane /mech. means, etc and safe lowering to work surface for inspection or repairs & fitting the engine back to vehicle after completion of the work.
