REPAIR/ MAINT OF STAND BY DG SETS, CONSUMABLE SPARES/ REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PARTS INCLUDING CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE GANGTOK

General maint (to be done once a week) of AMF Panel and DG set by experience technician including Cleaning of dust using blower & cleaning agents, tightening of nuts, bolts and all the terminals, checkling for any leakages, carrying out test run of the DG set for 15 mins with load, cleaning of filters. Checking functionality of AMF Panel, Checking functionality of all the parameters of ignition panel and indication lamps, Checking quality and level of Engine Oil, Checking for any abnormal sound of DG Set while running, cleaning of sludge from platform, checking of fan belt for DG set of capacity 320 KVA at location MH, JADC & Sig Center all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. The capacity of DG sets is mentioned below :- Note : 1. The contractor shall maintain a record of all these checks in a register and submit the same at the time of payment. 2. While inspecting the DG set if the technician finds any fault the same will be intimated to JE/Engr-in-Charge for further repair. 3. The cost of items such as cleaning material, blower, cleaning agents and tools as reqd for the above item or any other item upto Rs 500/- reqd for maint of DG set will be borne by the contractor and shall be deemed to be in quoted rate.

Attending complaints of DG Set of capacity 320 KVA at location MH, JADC & Sig Center by Checking/Detecting, Removal of Faults, Re-wiring of old u/s wiring & Testing of Control Wiring complete as reqd and closing of AMF Panel after replacement of u/s parts and fault finding of DG set engine ,leakage arresting of engine/diesel oil from filter by tightening of filter, setting of AVR, fan belt setting, tightening of battery terminal. The contractor will depute sufficient/proficient mechanic or electrician for fault finding and rectification. The contractor shall collect complaint regarding unserviceability of DG or AMF panel from JE EM, after collecting of complaint slip minor comlaint would be rectified within 6 hours, and major complaints to be rectified within 48 hrs, if the minor fault is not rectified within 06 hrs a fine of 500 Rs per 24 hours and in case of major fault a fine of Rs 1500 per 24 hrs shall be imposed on contractor. After completion of job work the DG will be tested on existing load as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The contractor shall deposit the old material retrieved from item no 04 to 59 to AGE EM store yard and shall maintain the record for the same. The old retreived item will be handed over to the contractor at the time of payment.
