Disconnecting/Taking down old unserviceable Earthing pit of any type with accessories including removing demolished material out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate 600mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25 metres deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 metres below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule Part-I and incl 40 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe (upto 7.5 metres beyond outer edge of earth pit) PCC M-10 grade (Nominal Mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate in pit with 40mm thick RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia bar both way @ 150mm c/c, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, common salt and chaarcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work complete. Note : Rate of item is deemed to be included for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth.

Note : Rate of item is deemed to be included for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth.

NOTE FOR SL NO 2 & 3 : (i) If the desired earth resistance is not achived during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable. (iii) Length of earth strip/electrode beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this BOQ (iv) Resistance value should be less than 5 ohm.

Supply, installation and commissioning of advance maintenance free system based earthing comprising of following accessories (a) Set of 04 Nos 3000 mm long, 17.0 mm dia earth electrode made of 99.99% copper circular rods with connect copper strip and electrode with the help copper brazzing of incoming copper strips of size 25 x 3 mm of length as per site requirement upto Bus bar as decided to Engr- in-Charge and distance between each copper earth electrode is minimum 3 Meter . (b) Copper bus bar of size (300 x 25 x 6)mm act as test point connect with copper nuts and bolts with post insulator.(Nuts/bolts as required). (c) Poly propylene earth pit cover of size 300 x 300 mm (with safe working load 2000 Kg) - 04 Nos (d) Copper bus bar of size (250 x 50 x 6)mm exothermically welded with main earth electrode (e) Each pit filled with earth enhancement compound /chemical (Magnesium sulphate) only (min 75 Kgs/pit) all as specified. Item continued as Srl No.4.01 (f) Required result of earthing less than 01 Ohm . If desired Ohmic value is not achieved then additional set of 1 No of 3000 mm long, 17.0 mm dia earth electrode made out of 99.9% copper rod with allied items, 01 x Pit cover, 01 x Sub bar as (d) above 75 Kg of chemical shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost to Govt. No price adjustment shall be made, if additional set is not required complete all as directed of Engr- in-charge (g) Necessary excavation, returning filling and removal of soil shall be deemed to be included under unit rate quoted.

Material and labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrod 600mm x 600mm x 3 mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25 metres deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5 metres below normal ground level connected to copper earth strip 25 x 3mm by means of briazzing made out of copper steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule Part-I and incl 40 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe (upto 7.5 metres beyond outer edge of earth pit) PCC M-10 grade (Nominal Mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate in pit with 40mm thick RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia bar both way @ 150mm c/c, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, common salt and chaarcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work complete. Note : Rate of item is deemed to be included for excavation in hard rock, by compressor machine to achieve required depth.

NOTE : (i) If the desired earth registance is not achive during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable. (ii) Length of earth strip/electrode beyond 7.5mtr shall be measured and paid under relevent item of this BOQ. (iii) Resistance value shall be less than 5 ohm. (iv) Copper plate shall be of 99.99% copper.

Taking down of unserviceable copper earthing strip any size complete all as directed.

S&F copper strip of size 20mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Copper strip shall be 99.99% copper.

S&F copper strip of size 25mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Copper strip shall be 99.99% copper.

All as per item No 8.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as directed. Note : Old serviceable copper earthing strip retrieved from serial item No. 7.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

Taking down of unserviceable Aluminium earthing strip any size complete all as directed.

S&F GI steel strip of size 32mmx6mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Aluminium strip of size 25mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or roof for lightening arrestor or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No 13.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as directed. Note : Old serviceable Aluminium earthing strip retrieved shall be used under this item.

S&F Aluminium strip of size 25mmX 3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to walls or roof of hanger or blast pen or RCC OH tank for lightening arrestor fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc using porcelain clit/post insulators with screw/GI drill bit screw with clamp of required size, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down of unserviceable GI earthing wire any size complete all as directed.

M&L for galvanised steel wire of size 4mm dia for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item no 16.00 here in above but fixing only complete all as directed. Note : Old serviceable Aluminium earthing wire retrieved from serial item No. 16.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

M&L for 32mm bore galvanised iron pipe, light grade including all fittings and fixed laid in trenches or fixed to wall/along the pole for protection of cable including taking down old GI pipe, complete, all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F Earthing test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mmx75mmx25mm thick drilled and screwed including 3Nos, 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screws including MS box 2 mm thick of suitable size for protection of test point terminal, including dismantling of old unserviceable test point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing steel tubing for alteration or additions (each cut measured) of size 50/40mm bore complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for screwing existing steel tubing for alteration or additions of size 50/40 mm bore complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

S&F Air termination, sigle pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long (99.9% molecularly copper) with complete acessories fixed on copper strip for earth conductivity to ground as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and laying in trenches 20mm nominal bore, light grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Exca vation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Supply and laying in trenches 40mm nominal bore, light grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Exca vation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

M&L for checking of existing old earthing pits by earth megar entering the inital values of the earth and lightening conductors and repairs/ replacement of GI strips where found corroded and repairs to pits and testing of earth resistance value and pouring salt/charcol and changing of plate as required for obtaining earth value below 5 ohm and entering the final values in a register complete all as specified and as directed. Note : GI strip, earth plate, salt & charcoal shall be measured and paid under respective item of schedule

Supply and laying Charcoal/ Carbon Breeze complete all as specified.

Supply and Laying galvinised steel earth plate, size of 600mmx600mmx6.00mm complete all as specified.

Supply and laying copper earth plate, size of 600mm x 600mm x 3mm complete all as specified.

Supply and replace funnel with mesh for earth pit all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for earth pit, laying UG cable, pipe line etc and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for earth pit, laying UG cable, pipe line etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and exc 1.5m but not exc 3m in depth for earth pit, laying UG cable, pipe line etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling, incl spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to distance not exc 50m and depositing where as directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point.

Supply only earth enhancement compound (Baron conductolite)/chemical of 25Kg size bag complete all as specified. Make- Ashok-Baron or Equivalent MES approved make.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep including removing the materials to a distance not-exc 60 mtr including cutting vegetation complete all as specified and directed. Note : Item shall be executed twice in each installation and quantity is given for two operation. However unit rate to be quoted by the tendered for single operation only.

S&F PCC M-10 grade (nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate for earthing pit of outer size 450x450x300mm, wall thickness 10mm and RCC cover in reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade (Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia bar both way @ 150mm c/c of size 450x450x80mm including GI funnel and necessary earth work including taking down old earth pit cover of conventional earthing complete all as directed.

M&L for for Earth pit indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia, 60 cm long M S sqaure bar embedded in PCC M-10 grade (nominal mix) using 20mm graded stone agreegate in PCC block of size 30cm x 30cm x 30 cm including C I plate size 30cm x 30cm x 3 mm thick fixed on side wall of PCC block complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge. Note : (i) The cost for writting of following lettering shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. (a) Type of earthing like as Chemical or Copper plate or GI plate or GI wire or Copper strips (b) Location (c) Pit No (d) Results (e) Date of Testing (ii) The earth pit indicator shall be provided near to earthing.

S&F factory made Poly propylene earthing earth pit cover made out of Hi Grade heavy duty polythylene, HD PVC Chamber of outer size 300x300mm, with safe working load 2000 Kg including taking down old earth pit cover complete all as directed.

M & L for copper brazing of two copper strip of size 20mmX 3mm thick to 32mmx6mm thick/copper rod of 17mm dia fixing on wall with the help of post insulator / fixing on pole with the help of clamp and post insulator complete all as directed.

S & replace post insulator for earthing strip including taking down old post insulator complete all as directed.

Supply and laying in trenches 15 mm dia galvanised iron tubing medium grade with and including all fittings such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, union etc in trenches incl taking down & dismantling of exisitng 15mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed

S & F for 15 mm dia Gate valve iron wheel head screwed both ends ISI marked fixed to GI pipe incl taking down & dismantling of exisitng 15mm dia gate valve complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix 500 liters capacity white colour triple layer, rotational moulded, polythene water storage tank (Cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed on roof in position, including all fitting such as connection pieces with GI tank nipple for inlet, outlet, washout and overflow etc complete.
