REPAIR AND MAINT OF ELECTRICAL SAFETY INFRASTRUCTURE, UPS, EARTHING, CAPACITOR BANK, VOLTAGE STABILIZER AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT TECH AREA AND CAMP AREA UNDER GE AF PALAM, DELHI CANTT-10

Repair, maintenance, testing, calibration and servicing of existing Online UPS Systems of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA, including disconnection and reconnection of all incoming and outgoing connections, dismantling, opening, inspection, fault finding, cleaning and reassembling complete with taking all necessary safety precautions. Note:- (i) The work shall include servicing and adjustment of rectifier section, inverter section, charger circuits, bypass circuits, static switch circuits, cooling system, protection circuits, control circuits, terminals, connectors and associated components, calibration of operating parameters, software settings and adjustment of the UPS for satisfactory performance as per OEM parameters. Contractor shall inspect the equipment with the OEM/OEM-authorized service provider before quoting rates. The quoted rates shall be deemed to included all repairs necessary for satisfactory functioning of the equipment, and no extra claim shall be admissible thereafter. (ii) The rate shall include testing and adjustment of control circuits, protection circuits, relays, contactors and associated mechanisms, replacement of minor consumables and accessories such as fuses, indicating lamps, switches, terminal blocks, ferrules, lugs, sleeves, cable glands, connectors, cooling fans, soldering materials, cleaning materials and similar items required for satisfactory operation. Minor repairs to internal wiring, brazing, soldering and fabrication works required for restoration of serviceability shall also be deemed included in the quoted rate. (iii) The UPS shall be tested for input/output voltage, frequency regulation, battery charging system, inverter operation, bypass operation, alarm indications, protection functions and overall performance and handed over in serviceable condition complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) The quoted rate shall include all labour, tools and plants, testing instruments, transportation, loading/unloading and incidental charges required for completion of the work. Replacement of major components such as Power Module, IGBT Module, Rectifier Module, Inverter Module, Static Switch Assembly, Control PCB/Card, SMPS Power Supply Unit, Battery Charger Module, Isolation Transformer, DC Bus Capacitor Bank/Electrolytic Capacitor Bank and other major proprietary components shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items where provided in the contract. Rectifier Module, Inverter Module, Battery Charger Module and IGBT Module shall be measured and paid only where these are independently replaceable assemblies. No separate payment shall be made where the same forms an integral part of the Power Module supplied and fixed.

S&F in replacement of IGBT Module/IGBT Assembly suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA, where separately replaceable, complete with testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Rectifier Module suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA complete with testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Inverter Module suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA complete with testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Static Switch Assembly suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA complete with testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Control PCB/Card Assembly suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA complete with programming, testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of SMPS Power Supply Unit suitable for existing Online UPS System of capacity 10 KVA to 30 KVA complete with testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
