Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B–1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], chullah hoods, Chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces including formwork, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F High strength corrosion resistant TMT bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate)as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Providing cement concrete type C2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel of 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred / stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and fair complete all as specifiied and directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply Only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) Type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping of including necessary form work finished fair and even surface without using extra cement including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed.

Blocking up the entry of septic tank of the following capacities and pumping out effluent dirty liquid and solid sludge from septic tank including intercepting chambers etc up to bottom collecting sludge and cleaning the septic tank line for reuse and removing the sludge out side to MoD Land and depositing the sludge where directed by local municipal authorities complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The rate inclusive for excavation, returning, filling & ramming of borrow pits for burying of removed sludge under the ground, making good the excavated earth to a true surfaces and transport required and dewatering of efflorecents from septic tank/soak well etc in nearest drain by means of 7.5 HP non clogging diesel driven pump.

Note for item No 22 to 28 :- The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for the following :-

(a) Solid sludge means bulky mass of sludge which remains at the bottom of septic tank/soakage well after pumping out/taking out sludge water.

(b) Contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controlling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractors and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at later stage.

(c) The rate included for excavation of borrow pits for burying of removed sludge under the ground, making good the excavated earth to a true surfaces.

(d) Removing of accumulated earth around septic tank up to 3 m of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around septic tank up to 3 m and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

(e) The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. The Delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(f) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings,heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks,etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 56 :- The unit rate is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth at sides of drain of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around 1 m from drain (both sides) and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. All as per item No. 64 above but cleaning of blockage from Gully trap to 1st manholes in ground floors.

M & L cleaning of blockages from water closets in ground floors/upper floor including re-fixing of lid of door bends etc in position after completion of job all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 57 to 59 :-The unit quoted rate is deemed to be included for the following :-

(a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be made good carefully by filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

(b) Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGE B&R in service centre daily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returned to concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job.

(c) Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materials of Sewage line of 100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, in between manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc.

(d) The complaints to be rectified within six hours on same day. The Delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(e) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Opening the man holes size 90cm x 90 cm in any depth of septic tanks, removing night soil, other sediments, solid waste, and liquid waste in any condition by pumping or any other mechanical means, cleaning internal surfaces of the tank with clean water and refix the man hole cover on completion of work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Note for Item No 72 :- (a) The night soil, other sediments, solid waste, and liquid waste in any condition removed from septic tank shall be taken away from respective vicinities and NB(K) Premises on closed containers/conveyance and disposed off out of defence land

(b) Disposal of the same shall be the responsibility of the contractor with out any extra expenditure to government. Disposal of waste shall be made in accordance with the regulations of authorities concerned.

(c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cleaning the neared MH & sewage line from that MH to septic tank as directed by Engr-in-Chrage.

(d) Disposal of refuseincluding uding liquid removed from septic tank/manhole shall be the responsibility of the tenderer and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Disposal shall be made in accordance with the regulations of civil authorities.
