Surface dressing in hard/dense soil not exc 15 cm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

Drilling or boring of 600 mm dia piles through any or all type of strata i.e : soft/loose, stilff clay by DMC method or any suitable method (average cutting depth considered is 12 m) and disposal of drilled/ bored material to a distance exceeding 50m and not exceeding 100 m all as specified and shown on drawings.

Drilling or boring of 600 mm dia piles through any or all type of strata i.e : hard rock by DMC method or any suitable method (average cutting depth considered is 1.8 m) and disposal of drilled/ bored material to a distance exceeding 50 m and not exceeding 100m all as specified and shown on drawings. Notes for item 05 to 07: (i) Concrete and reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The boring of piles shall be commenced from original ground level before carrying out site levelling work. The depth of boring of piles shall be measured from the top of original ground level to the approved founding level. (iii) Bentonite slurry used for mixing with soil (obtained from the boring) shall be disposed off out side MD land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate quoted against above Item shall interalia be deemed to included for this operation and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (iv) Casing pipe used while driving of piles shall be removed after providing RCC cast in situ piles as directed by the Engineer in charge. M&L for chipping of pile head up to cut off levels and to required lines (average depth considered is 1 m ) all as specified and as directed.

S&F CRS TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia all as specified and as directed.

S&F CRS TMT bars 5 mm dia and over upto and including 20 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia all as specified and as directed.

Carrying out of Initial load test on pile (600 mm dia) as per IS 2911, Part IV, 1985 for -(i) Vertical load (ii) Lateral (iii) Pull out all as specified in Drawing no. CE/WD/S/2021/04 Sheet no. 2/5 and as directed.

Carrying out of Routine load test on pile (Working pile) in compression / lateral loads as per standard procedure given in IS2911, Part IV, 1985 for 600 mm dia pile :- (i) VerticaL load (ii) Lateral all as specified in Drawing no. CE/WD/S/2021/04 Sheet no. 2/5 and as directed.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete Type C2 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded granite stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation, pile caps and similar work; vertical or to batter for fair finished surfaces all as specified and as directed.

M&L for RCC M-35 Design mix (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) for pile caps all as specified and as directed.

M&L for formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions etc all as specified and directed.

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for abutments

Supplying, fabricating and providing steel cylindrical liners of 6 mm thick MS plate to required depth including providing additional stiffener plate of 12 mm thick complete with all fixing arrangements all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) The rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut-off level and contractor will take away the cut steel. The rate is deemed to include for cutting, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) Concrete plug shall be founded on hard rock and MS liner shall be founded on refusal level. The occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore, past experience and laboratory results. The decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (iii) MS liner shall be measured and paid upto cut off level only. Additional MS liner, if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. Nothing extra shall be paid for this separately.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm girth or width with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer, complete all as specified as directed.

M&L for moorum/red bajri filling by forming embankments including, raising(or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc 30 cm thick , watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc n.exc 1.5 M high from the base all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 200 mm thick (spread thickness) soling with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, 75 mm thick each layer with coarse aggregates of granite trap or basalt of grading 2 ( 63 mm to 40 mm size), spread rolling and consolidation to grading and camber required all as specified and as directed.

Preparing surfaces of WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen over WBM surfaces all as specified and as directed.
