PART-A: HORTICULTURE MAINTENANCE WORKS

Maintenance of grassy lawns, landscapes in residential & publicBuildings, flower beds, hedges & plants including removing of fallen/ dryleaves and disposal of the same to the designated place, uprooting ofweeds/ rank vegetation, watering, mowering, rolling, top dressing, maintenance of flowerbeds (seasonal /annual etc.) Trimming/ cutting ofhedges /flower plants /decorative foliage wherever required, uprootingthe old & replanting the new seasonal plants etc. and application ofFYM, good earth, seasonal plants, new saplings / plants, pesticides,fertilizers complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. FYM,good earth, pesticides, fertilizers etc. shall be supplied by thecontractor, and shall be paid in relevant item of Part-B. However,preparation of new flower beds and arrangement of diesel lawnmowers, shall be in the scope of contractor. The item also includes thecleaning of dry leaves from the lawns, mentioned below :- TOWNSHIP AREA : Note: Minimum 11(Eleven) persons per day will be required in Township area tomaintain the lawns against Item No. 1a). Contractor has to deploy 11 malies (Unskilledlabours) per day as per following details and one operation shall be considered forone month i.e 11nox26 days=286 mandays per month for payment purposes oneoperation per month will be paid. Township Area: Minimum Malis to be deployed: i) Avanti,Kalindi: 3 (ii) Satkar: 1 (iii) Green Park and G T Road Main Gate enterance (iv) Shopping Centre, Hospital, MK: 1 (v) Football Ground,Civil Office and small park near B-36: 1 (vi) A Type,B Type three nos Park: 1 (vii) C Type Parks(Near C-15,C-17 , C-93 and C-65, Four nos Parks: 1 (viii) Near D-01,D-11 and Club Parks: 1 (ix) Prade Ground: 1

FACTORY AREA: The one operation which shall contains minimum 03 (Three) persons per day x 26 working day in a month (full month except weekly off or holidays) will considered as one operation for Factory area , and to be paid in item no 1(b) of Item No. 1 . In factory area parks of Technical Building, Infront of fire station, GTG area, Administartive building and Lab west side area and other area as instructed by Engr In Charge. Factory Area: Minimum Malis to be deployed: (i) Adm. Building, CGM Office Park: 1 (ii) Tech. Building Parks: 1 (iii) Park front of Fire Station, Bentonite Plant, Canteen: 1. Total for Factory Area: 3 Malis.

Maintnenace & Development of Nursary including watering, hoeing,weeding, application of manure, fertilizers Pruning / cutting, preparation &raising of flower beds, sowing of seeds, filling of polythene bags withmixture of good earth and Farm Yard Manure (FYM) in the required ratio,Maintenance of flower pot / plants / indoor plants removing of dead leafs /branches, spraying pesticides etc. shifting of pots here and there fromnursery including Kalindi, Avanti, and Stadium Ground during NationalFestivals and other funcions. ( Seed, fertilizers, pesticides etc. shall besupplied by NFL free of cost.)

Note: One operation is contained minimum 02 (Two) persons per day x 26 working day in a month (full month except weekly off or holidays) will considered as one operation for Township area , and to be paid in item no 2(a) of Item No. 2 , to maintain the Nursery against Item No. 2 and for payment purposes one operation per month will be paid.

Maintenance of tree / Plants / Shrubs / Creepers, road side avenues plants, pot plants etc. by watering, hoeing, veeding, earthing up,supporting and pruning, refilling of pots, replacement old dead / dry plants, mixing of manure / fertilizers, pesticides / spraying of insecticides,trimming to shape etc as and when required as per site requirement to keep the plant healthy.(Seed, fertilizers, pesticides etc. shall be supplied by NFL free of cost).

Minimum 1(One)persons per day X 26 days in a month will be considered as one operation for carrying job in Township area to maintain the trees of side berms of Main Road from G T Road to Gate No.2 against Item No. 3. Remarks : For Item No. 1,2&3 (1) Extra persons may required to be deployed for upkeep of these lawns, Nursery and Main Road which contractor shall deploy as and when required at no extra cost.Frequency of maintenance shall be as per requirements of and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (2) In case of deploy of less malies, the payment shall be reduced from the particular period of bill on pro rata basis. It is also highlighted that for all lawns,Nursery and main Road under item No.1,2 & 3 all tools &plants alongwith sufficient nos. of Lawn Mowers/Bush Cutters, Shurub Master and PVC 20mm Pipes for watering shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid to the party. Contractor shouldkeep above facts in mind while quoting the rate for item No. 1,2&3

Digging Holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavatedearth mixed with mannure in the required ratio , flooding with water,dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any all leadsand lifts. ( Cost of Mannure or extra good earth if needed shall be paidseperatly)Holes upto 60 cm dia, 60 cm deep

Planting of different species of plant, trees in the excavated pitsincluding its hoeing watering and other maintenace for entire balancecontractural period.

Looping and trimming of plants / tree / branches of trees upto any girth& required height and of any girth of plants as desired by Engineer incharge.

Supply of tractor trolley with driver, diesel and required Nos. of labour for lifting / shifting of various materials i.e uprooted trees / branches, ofhorticulture materials, flower pots for official functions and for attendingemergent nature of job etci.e , clearing the road blockage etc as perinstructions of Engr.-In-Charge .

Tractor trolley for 8 working hours

Tractor with tiller / harrow / plainer etc. for ploughing the field / lawnslevelling the same and other Misc. work, pulling the heavy trees to clearblockeges etc (For 8 working Hours)

Renovating lawns including weeding,cheeling the gress,forking theground,top dressing with sludge/manure,mixing the same with forkedsoil,watering & maintaing the lawns for 30 days to grow the grass in to a thick lawn free from weeds & fit for mowering and disposal of rubbishas directed, including supply of good earth if needed but excluding thecost of sludge or mannure. ( The good earth shall be paid separtely)

Supply of Labour / Gerdener for executing various unforeseen jobs whichare non-susceptible to measurements at site and not covered under theabove Schedule items (8 hours Working Day )

Cutting and clearing the areas of grass / wild growth / jungal growth, includingsarkanda / small peepal and bushes etc. with required tools and tackles, collection ofgrass / growth, loading the same in transport vehicle, carrying the same to the safeareas in Factory & Township for dumping, unloading in the dumping yard and burningthe same if required, as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (With Bush Cutter ormachines )

Spraying the herbicide on wild growth with spray machine and removal ofthe grass/wild growth/jungle growth/vegetation etc. after getting samefully dry with required tools and tackels coolection and removal of thesame including disposing in dumping yard in Factory and Township area

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegitation, grass, bush wood,Sarkanda roots, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 CM measured at aheight of 1 Metre above ground level and removal of rubbish upto 50 Moutside the periphery of the area cleared

Cutting & removing the grass / rank vegitation from the inner sidebrick lined sloping surface of intake Water Chennel & Raw WaterReservoir No 1& 2 by Kassi,Khurpa & Dranti etc. and disposal of therubbish up to a distance of 50 M out side the periphery of the area cleaned

Surface dressing of the ground/Road Berms including removingvegitation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and dosposalof rubbish,lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.50 m

Carriage of material by mechanical transport includingloading,unloading and disposal up to alead of Approx. 1.0 Km with inFactory & Township Area Earth

Maintaining and Clearing paths, approaches and inner sides of finalponds area including cutting of jungle, uprooting of rank vegetation,grass, bush wood, trimming of trees of final pond area etc by Kassi,Khurpa, Dranti, axe etc. and disposal of the distance of 1.0 K M outside theperiphery of the area cleaned all as per instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: For operating/executing the above mentioned jobs, the contractor shall have to deploy 2 Nos. labour / man power on daily bases as per instructions of Engineer-in-Charge with all necessary tools and tackles.

PART-"B" MATERIALS SUPPLY: Supply of dirrerent type of plants, seeds, chemical fertilizers, pestisides, Sprinklers etc.

Trees such as Ashoka, Mor Pankhi, Amaltas, Gulmohar, Neem etc.

Indoor / foliage plants of differenct species such as Arokaria, Palms, Crotons etc.

Supply of grafted roses / boughanvillias

Supply of Dhailia / Crysenthemum cuttings

Seed of seasional flowers (summer and winters) (Standard Packet of 5 Grms)

Supply of Urea fertilizers in Bags

Supply of DAP fertilizers in Bags

Supply of Pesticides / insecticides

Brass Sprinkler

Supply and stacking of well-rotton fram yard mannure at site ( Mannure shall be majored in stacks and will be reduced by 8% void for the purpose of payment

Supply and stacking of locally available good earth at site including cost / rolayty of earth, carriage of the same from soruce of supply to site and stacking in proper measurable stacks ( earth shall be measured by reducing 20 % voids for the purpose of payment)

Supply and stacking Jamuna Sand at site including royality and carriages.
