Bio- Septic Tank & Sokage Well

Excavating over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.50m in width as well as 10Sqm on plan) not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.50m in width as well as 10Sqm on plan) exceeding 1.5 metre but not exceeding 3.0 metre in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.50m in width as well as 10Sqm on plan) e.xceeding 3.0 metre but not exceeding 4.5 metre in depthand getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Hardcore of gauge not exc. 63mm using Broken stone or boulders, deposited spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and well rammed to a true surface all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:2:4, type B1, using 20mm graded aggregate as in bed block, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like inclduing necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:4:8, Type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, fillings and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Design, providing lowering, laying, aligning, testing and commissioning of Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Bio-Septic Tank of active working capacity 10 KL (10,000 Litres) comprising 03 internal compartments/partitions and complete with inlet and outlet connections, vent pipe, inspection covers, bio-culture charging and all accessories required for proper functioning including comprehensive maintenance for 2 years after certified date of compeltion as described below and as specified in Particular speciation and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge :-

[i] The tank shall consist of precast/monolithic shell, internal partitions and top slab manufactured using Design Mix Concrete of Grade M40 conforming to IS 456 and reinforced with High Yield Strength Deformed corrosion-resistant TMT bars conforming to IS 1786 (Grade Fe 500D/Fe 550D). [ii] The bio-septic tank shall be designed and manufactured in accordance with DRDO–ABD/ABRT (Anaerobic Biological Digestion Reactor Technology) parameters for treatment and disposal of sewage sludge. [iii] , Earthwork excavation, foundation/concrete bedding, backfilling, removal of excess soil shall be measured and paid separately. [iv] The work includes lowering and positioning of the tank using suitable mechanical crane/hoist, sealing all joints with approved high-strength non-shrink waterproof grout, conducting water-tightness test at site and commissioning complete. [v] The unit rate quoted for this item shall also includes supply and charging of initial dosage of DRDO-approved Anaerobic Microbial Inoculum (AMI) culture, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
