M&L for cleaning and degermination inside of Static water storage tanks of capacity 20,000 gallons comprising following four stage cleaning complete all as specified and as directed.
(a) First stage is to drain out the water by using exit valve by high capacity dewatering systems or any other suitable method approved by EIC (b) Second stage is cleaning the floors and walls of the water tank and sludge removal by heavy duty industrial vaccum cleaner (c) Third stage is fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump with pressure 5 PSI (d) Fourth stage is dring the floor with vacuum cleaner
Note:- (iv) All cleaning staff must wear safety helmets, gumboots,safety belts when entering the tanks. Safety goggles shall be used while spraying chemicals. (v) Necessary insurance of safety of working labour is responsibility of the contractor (vi) Water tank location and cleaning date must be mentioned on the tank either by stickering or painting using synthetic enamel paint with lettering not less than 100mm height. (vii) The entire tank/Sump/OHT cleaning work shall be carried through specilized agency (viii) Entire T&P should be arranged by the contractor on his own.Only electric power & water shall be supplied by MES at stipulated rates. (ix) The contractor shall submit in writing the tentative schedule of tank cleaning before starting the tank cleaning process and same shall be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. (x) The tank cleaning process shall be carried out in presence of an MES representative and a register shall be maintained by the contractor indicating the location of cleaning, date,discrepancies noticed if any pertaining to tank condition like cracks, action taken and signature of user.
All as per Item here in above complete but for SWT of 10000 Gallons capacity.
M&L Rendering 15 mm thick mixed with water proofing compound as per manufactures instruction on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 is to be finished even and smooth (with out using extra cement) complete all as specified and directed Note :- Liquid water proofing compound to be measured under separate item as supply only.

M & L making 'V' groove of 10mm wide and 30mm deep or upto the extend of joint/crack present at site oer joint/crack line using electricity operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning it by air blower as direted by EIC. The groove shall be cut on the concrete surface along the joint/crack over RCC structure of SWT incl cost of necessary scafoldings, to be repaired complete all as specified and directed. Note. Work to be executed by the auth applicator of manufacturer only.
M & L drilling holes of 12mm upto 100mm deep holes in structural members at the interval of 300mm in staffered manner or along with joint & crack line in reinforced concrete (RC) structural element or SWT including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12mm dia nozzle compatible with injecctor and having machined external end to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fix inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy adhesive sikadur 31 or equivalent to ensure complete sealing and allow curing the system for minimum of 8 hrs before grouting including nozzle projections excess putty if any over concrete element by grinding leveling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note. Rate quoted incl all necessary scaffoldings for execution of the work. Work to be executed by the auth applicator of manufacturer only.
M & L for 10mm thick rendering im CM (1:3) over two coats of sika toposeal 107 or Aqua Arm Top Guard or ICO top crete RTU inside of the wall or floor of the SWT, a two components ready to use polymer modified cementatous coating, Fist coat should be applied horizontily and second coat vertically. The thickness of coating shall not be less that 1.5mm complete all as specified and directed.
