Particulars of works

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 53-22.4 mm sizes to water bound macadam G-3 specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with Smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density for Grading 3 as per Technical Specification clause -405 (3) A (Excluding GST)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emusion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bitumenous surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (Excluding GST)

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder@ 5.4 percent of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher the required grade, level and aligment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction (Excluding GST)

Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 80-100 KN capacity, finished to required level and grades to followed by seal coat as per Technical specification clause - 508

Providing and laying seal coat Type C by manual means with 80/100 grade bitumen sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall as per Technical specification clause - 510(III)(I)
