REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS OF VARIOUS UNITS UNDER AGE BR II OF GE N MAMUN

Material and Labour for Repair to potholes any description, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), complete all as specified. Note : The patching of pot holes shall be as per para 20.A.34.2 of SSR Part-I

Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area n.exc. 400 Sqm and depth not exc. 50mm, stacking the serviceable material at site and removing the surplus material n.exc. 50m, complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for Preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam (WBM) surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4% by total mix laid by self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: The specification of bituminous macadam shall be as per Para 20.B.3 of SSR Part-I.

Material and Labour for preparation of existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: The combined grading of aggregate shall be as per Para 20.B.2.5.4(d) & 20.B.4 of SSR Part-I.

Material and Labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and applying thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2.0 mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters exceeding 10cm but not exceeding 15cm in width, applied hot, using special applicator machine and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions, the finish surfaces to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed.
