MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF OH TANKS, SUMPS, SERVICE TANKS, RAW WATER TANKS, TREATED WATER TANKS UNDER GE BIRCHGUNJ

Material and labour for Cleaning of overhead reservoir upto 30 mtr staging, semi UG Sumps, Sumps, reservoirs, storage tanks, Fountain with deployment of mechanical equipment such as high jet pumps for removal of dirty water vacuum operated pump for sludge removal, cleaning of inner wall, ceiling and bottom by high pressure rotary jet 120 bar pressure, wet vacuum cleaner etc. complete all as specified and as directed

The complete job of the tank cleaning process will be as under:- (i) Mechanical removal of all remaining dirty water by high capacity submersible pump set. (ii) Removal of Sludge by vacuum operated German pump. (iii) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and bottom of tank by German made high pressure rotary jet 120 bar pressure. (iv) Removal of all dirty particles by industrials wet vacuum cleaner leaving the tank physically cleaned. (v) Sterilization of tank by Echo friendly biodegradable and highly effective against all pathogenic agents as instructed.

Notes :- (i) Contractor must clean and disinfect the water storage tank within 24 hours after giving the site by Engr-in-Charge to avoid the disturbance of water supply to the connected area.

(ii) In case of any accident during the work in progress the contractor will be fully responsible to give necessary medical aids and also compensation to worker under compensation act 1923. (iii) No extra payment will be made for transportation of any machineries required for cleaning and disinfection the storage tank. (iv) Item No 1 (a) to (z) water tanks cleaned once in 6 months interval or if any water contamination occurs, as per directions of Engr-in-Charge. (v) Contractor must write the date of cleaning and capacity of tank at the wall of the storage tank in size of 2 ft x 2 ft base painted by synthetic enamel paint. Base should be in light blue colour and letters should be white colour without extra payment.

Collect the sample of water of 5 litres each from user end, after cleaning of UG Sumps or OH Tanks or RCC/ PVC tanks and sending it same day at Govt approved lab for testing of water as per IS 10500 in a cleaned container and necessary reports will be submitted to GE Birchgunj complete all as directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for draining out complete water from existing PVC water tank fixed on the roof top of the buildings, removing the mud, sludge etc; from the tank, cleaning the internal surface using bleaching powder and wire brush, keeping it dry, painting the external surfaces of the tank facing the road side with black/white background of size 450mm x 300mm with one coat of approved black/white synthetic enamel paint, writing on the white/black surface with white/black paint " TANK CLEANED ON (date)" size of letter shall be 50mm x 70mm, checking and correcting the air lock on occurrence next day after the cleaning of the tank, when the tank is full of water, removing the same with pump, repair the leakage if any and cleaning the vegetation etc; on surrounding RCC slab where the tank is resting, (a) to (e) will period of nine months interval complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity: -

Excavation and earth work in mud/hard soil etc by using machinary/labour to any length to attend pipe line breakdown as per site conditions and forming bund with excavated soil to avoid water entering into the working area including pumping/bailing out water by using portable diesel engine driven pump set including the following complete all as specified and as directed :-

(i) Cutting of unserviceable CI/DI pipe of size 300/400/500 mm dia after thorough inspection for the damage including bailing out water using portable pump set. (ii) Taking out damaged/ unserviceable pipe after removing from rubber tyton joint/burning out lead joints at both ends & replacing new 300/400/500 mm dia DI pipe line in lieu of existing in to trenches using machinery / labour as required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Transportation of DI pipe / fittings of size 300/400/500 mm dia from Prothrapur Pump house to work site and cutting the pipe to required length to suit site conditions.

(iv) Jointing pipe by using rubber tyton rings 300/400/500mm dia to the corresponding socket and spigot ends of the existing pipe line after aligning the pipe line as per site condition, inserting the CI collar of size 300/400/500 mm dia, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(v) Making run lead joints in CI collar 300/400/500 mm dia or in any other specials of any size and any type, caulking of joints and testing for leakages if any, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(vi) Returning filling in including removal of surplus mud/excavated materials with the help of earthmoving machinery, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- (a) DI/CI/GI pipe and fittings of size 300/400/500 mm dia shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item here in after as supply only (b) Cost of tools & plants as required for work & transportation is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (c) The Contractor shall take due care while executing the work (i.e., especially taking out old existing pipe line and laying new pipe line). Supply and fix in replacement 3 phase analog type ammeter in existing LT Panel

Supply and fix in replacement 3 phase analog type volt meter in existing LT Panel

Supply and fix in replacement indicating lamp (R,Y,B) in the existing LT Panel all as specified and as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing unserviceable MCCB from panel board after disconnecting cable & Supply & fixing only MCCB 250A, 35 KA 3 Pole fixed in existing panel including modification of existing frame and panel board door for proper installation of MCCB and connecting with existing cable including thimble, nut bolt and washers etc complete all as specified and as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing unserviceable MCCB from panel board after disconnecting cable & Supply & fixing only MCCB 400A, 50 KA 3 Pole fixed in existing panel including modification of existing frame and panel board door for proper installation of MCCB and connecting with existing cable including thimble, nut bolt and washers etc complete all as specified and as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old surface shall include brooming down or steel wire brushing & scrapping down and white washing two coats on surface of UG Sump and installation all as specified and as specified and as directed
