Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or Bitumenous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm and exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for Applying evenly a Prime Coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/ sqm on surface of WMM/ WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for Preparation of bitumenous surface and Applying evenly a Tack Coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion RS-1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bitumenous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing sufaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
M&L for Bitumenous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer confirming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, with 5.5% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type) of 100-120 TPH capacity,
Contd.. carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, including level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendom roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.5 % VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College/ NABL approved lab and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision).
(ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula from lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specification entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandom roller as per clause no. 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
Providing, laying & Compaction of bitumenous macadam (BM), of consolidated thickness not exceeding 75 mm, conforming to clause 504 of MoRT&H specification for Road and Bridge works (Fifth Revision) using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc of grading-II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) premixed with bitumenous binder Bitumen grade VG-30 @3.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch type Hot Mix Plant transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and allignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandom rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for Bitumenous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College/ NABL approved lab and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.
M&L for preparing bitumenous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide on roads pavements with white/ yellow hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) by special applicator machine (automatic mechnical engine driven machine) all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for marking 2.5 mm thick Zebra crossing, speed breaker etc. and the like on roads pavements with white/ yellow hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) by special applicator machine (automatic mechnical engine driven machine) all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & labour for repair to potholes depth not exceeding 30 mm and area not exceeding 1 sqm, sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc., cutting around edges at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, well rammed and rolled & consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fix in repair solar stud, aluminium alloy shell (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125 mm x 125 mm x 25 mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in repair cat eye, reflective type, metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fixing Solar metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body, fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/ 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of block size 150 x 150 x 300 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Demolition of cement Concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of debris not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, with Cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 Sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at curve shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
