Dismantling the UNSV sign board in installations and supply and fixing retro reflector board of size 4ft x3 ft with high quality retro reflector tape blue base high intensity prismatic sheeting (HIP) grade white retro tape cutting good quality with 3mm thick ACP sheet base including 40mm x 40mm square size MS pipe legs and all around the board appx 18 feet incl welding the MS flat plate of size 25mm x 3mm across the board appx 10 feet including grouting the sign board in PCC 1:2:4 complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge. S&F mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting, tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wirefencing / chain link fencing etc. flat iron fillets (for securing chain link fencing etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting orreveting ,welding, etc. and similar embeding in concrete and securing etc and work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including painting two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer all as directed.

Material and labour PVC coated chain link fencing 10 gauge thick galvanised steel wire and 50mm x 50mm size mesh fixed to steel fencing post by galvanized iron nut bolt etc including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed and chain link approved by GE.

Taking out old interlocking tiles and keep a side for re-use after removing of grass, shrubs and levelling of surface area and fixing of old interlocking tiles at same place.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as directed

Material and labour 100mm thick cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of flooring complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fixing cable route indicators made of PCC (1:3:6) duly engraved “HT CABLE / HT JOINT” coloured with two coats of synthetic paint in red of size 150 x 150 x 900 mm fixed 300mm below ground level all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of 2 pole structure and painting with one coat of aluminium paint to all steel structure such as channel/brackets, bracing, clamps, anti climbing device, cross arms and further synthetic enamelled painting 30 cm high alternate yellow & black strips with paint upto 1.5 mtr height to PCC pole and mention the FEEDER NAME with red synthetic enamel paint on each HT structurecomplete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Pin type polymer insulator having creepage distance of 320mm (min) insulator incl of spindle and nuts and washer having spindle length min165mm and dia of 20mm for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in replacement new MS Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, anti climbing device and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers with reqd mech working/ process i.e. cutting, welding, bending, cold or hot, drilling holes, grinding or bolt in any shape or size including 2 coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide including taking out unserviceable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Unexposed surface shall be given one coat of primer only.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. from HT poles by opening nuts, bolts complete and setting aside for re-use within 200mtr or depositing to GE (E) Jalandhar store yard as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement lightening arrester expulsion type complete with all fittings, Distribution class, discharge capacity 10 KA rupturing capacity conforming to IS suitable for 11 KV, HT over head line complete including nuts, bolts, clamps, bracket etc and connecting with GI earth wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Danger notice plate for HT of 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones and wtitten as "DANGER" in signal red colour and incl provn and fixed with MS clamps made out of MS flat 25 mm x 3mm , including nuts & bolts, including 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including dismantling all as specified. Note :- Words shall be written in three languages viz. -Punjabi, Hindi and English.

Supplying and fix in replacement switch Air break Gang Operated Switch assembly (polymer insulators) outdoor type HT 11 KV triple pole, 200 Amps, vertical mounting type with fixed contacts and moving contacts of phosphorus bronze with mechnically operated from ground level with polymer insulator on steel frame incl suitable length GI pipe 25mm dia bore(medium grade) with handle and locking arrangment with 09 Nos polymer inuslators complete including taking out old unserviceable GO Switch assy all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge and (clamps/cross arms shall be measured and paid for separately).

Supply and fix in replacement drop out fuse assembly 11 kV with polymer insulator (06 nos) current carrying cap 200 Amp,incl HT fuse of capacity 10/15/20/30A asrequired at site on steel frame and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge and (clamps/cross arms shall be measured and paid for separately). Taking down/ out HT cable off sizes from trench & pole including disconnecting all electrical connections and depositing serviceable cable in MES store yard for Re-use at other site in entire cantt area and removing unserviceable cable from site to take credit. Note: The excavation and related civil wk will be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable length, adjacent/abutting each other complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for PCC work (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation of electric pole, etc. including use and waste of necessary form work and fare finish to exposed surfaces without using extra cement etc. complete all as specified.

M & L for boring hole under the road / pavement / hard standing of any width with the help of trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine and including HDPE pipe 150 mm of size not less than one metre below ground level complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked 150 mm bore for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked 100 mm bore for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L in replacement for earthing complete with GI or steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in a pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below level covered on all sides with alternative layers of charcol dust and common salt 15 cm thick connected to galvanised earth lead Galvanised Iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of Galvanised Iron or steel with protection pipe earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe light grade 40 mm bore from top of the earth plate electrode upto test point and watering pipe 20mm bore, GI light grade with funnel and wire mesh all as shawn in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-1 and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indiated and testing on completion, including PCC earth pit (1:3:6) type C-2 covered with CI cover hinged with frame including excavation and earth work complete all as specified. Note : In case the desired test result of earthing not found satisfactory, contractor shall re-carry out the earth work at new location without any extra cost to the deptt.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed with layers of charcoal dust and common salt, earth lead GI wire 4mm dia (8 SWG) connected to GI earth plate electrode by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and other end of earth wire connected to main switch board and protected by galvanized iron light grade 15mm bore and GI pipe 20mm bore medium grade with funnel and wire mesh for watering including necessary excavation and earth works. PCC Chamber in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 & RCC cover in M-20 (Design mix) reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm c/c both ways and all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of MES standard Schedule of Rates (Part-I) of 2009 complete all as specified and directed. Notes : In case the desired test result of earthing not found satisfactory, contractor shall re-carry out the earth work at new location without any extra cost to the deptt.

M&L for HT jumper made of XLPE insulated aluminium conductor of size 150 Sqmm,with crimped thimbles at both ends complete fixing on 2 pole/ 4 pole structure as reqd at site.(3 Nos one meter HT Jumper shall be considered as one unit for payment )

Material and labour for cutting and cleaning of grass by using manually/cutter machine all around Elect Instln and suitable chemical(round up) spraying near Package Sub Stations , Ring main Units and 4 pole /2 pole structure area complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge .

M & L for Locating & pinpointing conductor and insulation faults of low and high resistance, intermittent or flashing nature in XLPE HT underground power cables of the rating 11 KV with the help of Pre-locator with time domain laptop based reflectometer/ electrometer using pulse echo method, impulse current method & decay method, and using DC high voltage surge generator to produce surge to trace route and pinpointing fault with the help of dual channel digital sound system, magnetic & acoustic for location of fault with acoustic transducer (pickup) and the amplifier with headphones, after pinpointing of faut location necessary excavation and taking out of faulty cable for repair/ replacement of joint, relaying of cable/ cover & brick protection, refilling of soil and removal of surplus soil etc at Jalandhar cantt all as specified and directed. Note: The joint shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. The qty of item will be executed at different times during currency of contract . If contractor failed to found/rectify fault on ground within 06 hrs after intimation by JE OR Engr-in Charge then Rs 2000/- recovery will be leveid from RAR per hr till rectification time.

M&L removing of heavy tree branches near transformer, Compact sub station, sub stn building or near 4 pole structure or LT/HT line with help of crane all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for shifting of VCB installed in indoor sub stations of cantt area after taking proper shut down and disconnecting existing HT connections/ feeders and shifting with help of crane and reqd manpower carefully and depositing to MES Yard complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing and calibration of RMU ( 3WAY/5 WAY) by OEM/Authorised Channel partner for setting of earth fault current/short circuit current/over load current setting (time & load) as per connected load in KVA on individual RMU and series of RMU/ VCBs/CSS on MAP Feeder,MH Feeder, Essential Core..Electric load connected on RMU/Feeder/VCBs will be provide by the deptt. servicing of ring main unit (RMU) 3/5 way carried out by taking shutdown of 11 KV and disconnecting electrical connections, removing of dust with blower, cleaning of all movable/fixed parts, removing moisture/ hard carbon deposited due to flash over on bus bars and insulators with CRC/ Stanvac moisture/ carbon remover, checking all components, insulators/ studs, adjusting the male / female bushings in proper spacing, lubrication of moving parts, greasing all parts, tightening nuts and bolts, adjustment of breaker mechanism/ load break switch , earth switch to ensure slip free operation, testing of CT & PT with injection kit and reconnecting of all electrical connections, testing of RMU for healthiness and proper functioning and submitting report complete all as directed. Note: (a) Contractor shall submit complete report regarding CT & PT, Protection relay functioning pick up current & corresponding time value setting tests carried with injection testing kit, Relay testing kit. Any major Spare replaced shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) Contractor shall come to calibrate the RMU during any time of currency of work.

(a) Details of servicing of breaker :- (i) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check Spring Tension and adjustment. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor

(b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Injection Test/ ratio test of CT / PT (ii) BLANK (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing and calibration of following relays of control panel with Suitable Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :- (i) Over current and earth fault relay (d) Testing of followig Aux relay (i) DC Supply supervision relay. (ii) Master trip relay

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Dry type Resin cast current transformer (CT) 11 kV having ratio 900-450/0.577A-1-5-5 A, burden 15 VA, class PS - 5P15- 0.5 - 10P10 and STC 21 KA for 3 sec of size and shape as per existing suitable for VCBs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for fixing of RMU/ Switchgear panel doors made up of MS CRCA sheet powder coated having 2/ 3.15mm thickness , cut to size and pressed to shape required as per size of existing panels installed/ located at various locations/site including welding, fixing of hinges to sheet, provn of suitable locking arrangements & neoprene rubbe rgasket and fixing of sliding bolts (sliding bolts shall be measured under relevant item of Sch) and further fixing to panel/ Switchgear panel for fixing complete all as per directed by Engr in charge. Note : The contractor have to get measured size of LT panel doors on ground for suitable fitting of doors.

Material and labour in replacement of hydraulic shocker for closing and opening of main cubical door suitable for 11KV RMU 3/5 way of Schneider or other installed make complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for SF6 Gas pressure indicator gauge suitable for KV RMU 3/5 way complete.

Material and labour for Voltage Presence Indication system complete with connected accessories for existing RMU 11 KV 3/5 way suitable as per existing model complete all as specifed and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of thermostat for space heater of HT panel/ VCB/RMU complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of tripping coil of 110V AC/ DC as reqd at site for 11KV RMU 3/5 way or existing VCB/ SF6 breaker 11/66KV complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of closing coil of 110V AC/ DC as reqd at site for 11KV RMU 3/5 way of series FBX2025/FBX1844 or existing VCB/ SF6 breaker 11/66KV complete with necessary connections all as directed.

M&L for repair of RMU 11 KV 3/5 way any type & any make (Schneider, Siemens, Areva, Hartek or any other make) complete including removing/ disconnecting electric cable and earth connections from RMU, shifting the RMU through suitable transport to service centre workshop at Chandigarh/ Delhi or other loc and opening / step opening of RMU parts and diagnosing the fault complete including making necessary repairs, replacing complete defective AC & DC circuit control protection wiring, complete cleaning, servicing and replacing major defective parts and re-fixing, assembling and replacing parts for satisfactory functioning and shifting back to Jalandhar cantt and installation, commissioning and making electrical connections complete all as directed.
