Earth work Excavation for foundation in hard stiff clay,stiff black cotton soil, Hard red earth, shales, murrams, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders and hard grvelly soil depositing on bank including shoring strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary, well rammed consolidated and deposting the surplus earth in places as shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 10metres and an initial left of 2 metres and clearing, levelling the site etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Collection and Supply of M Sand gravel mix 3:7 (Three sand and Seven gravel) ratio for basement / filter zone including stacking, mixing and spreading the sand gravel mix in layers of not exceeding in 150 mm thickness over properly prepared surface, watering and consolidating the same with approved type of compaction equipment including stacking for pre-measurement etc complete complying with the standard specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work.

Providing and placing in position Plain Cement Concrete of M20 using hard broken granite coarse aggregate (well graded) of nominal maximum size of 20mm and down graded to I.S specification grading ( to achieve the specified characteristic strength of 20 N/ mm2 at 28 days ) and mixing the ingredients in by using mixer machine including dewatering of the placement site by bailing / pumping and dewatering wherever necessary, laying the Concrete in layers as directed and in bays compacting and vibrating , watering, curing, finishing the surface so as to attain the profile and strength as specified in the approved drawing, complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Refilling with excavated earth (other than sand) with all leads and lifts for filling the open cut wherever necessary in layers including breaking clods watering and compaction using Power Roller to atleast 95% of Proctor Density at OMC in each layer and sectioning etc as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Clearing Juliflora Jungle without uprooting etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Earthwork in all soils except hard rock requiring blasting and conveying for formation of flood bank/bund from approved borrow area and transporting the same with a lead of 0 to 100 metre deploying earth moving machineries and Tippers including benching, formation of bunds,breaking clods, watering to Opitimum moisture content (OMC) and compaction of each layers to 95 % of procter density through deployment of appropriate compaction equipment (8-10 T) power roller / vibratory power roller/ short width (+0.90m width drum) power roller or vibratory power roller / Fuel operated or elect-operated vibratory plate compactors,ensuring compaction of designed bund section including side slope complete as per standard specification as directed by the Departmental Officers

Supplying demarcation R.C.C. pre cast post in Cement concrete M20 grade with well graded aggregates and the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of size 20 mm of size 0.15 x 0.15 x 1.20 M and fixing the post 45 cm depth below ground level, the post includes using 4 numbers of 8 mm RTS main rod to a length of 1.325 M, using 6 mm MS 9 numbers as strrups with steel centering and painting the post with enamel paint to a height of 0.80 M alround the post etc. complete and conveying the post to the site of demarcation boundary such as tank bund and foreshore including earth work excavation for foundation in HSC, and the post embedded by using Cement concrete M10 grade with well graded aggregates and the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 40 mm, as per the direction of the Engineers and complying with standard specification.

Supplying, Laying, Jointing and fixing in position of R.C.C. Hume pipes of NP 3 class of 900 mm. Dia with suitable collars including labour charges and jointing materials, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and fixing cut stone roughly dressed to size all faces and set in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) including all incidental charges such as finishing and curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and laying WBM grade II 75mm thick for bottom layer with grade materials using 1m3 of 63mm to 45mm IRC size H.B.Granite metal with 0.24 m3 of gravel for 10m2 of 75mm thick with grading of metals to confirm to SSRB Art. 203 of TNHM Vol-1 part 2 specifications including cost and conveyance of the materials to work site, stacking to department gauge for premeasurement labour charge for spreading to camber watering forming edge bund etc, consolidating by power roller rolling including hire charges and running charges for tools and plants for employed etc.

Providing and laying WBM 75mm Compacted thickness with Grade- III metal using 1.00 cum of 53 – 22.40 IRC size HBG metal with 0.24 cum of gravel/sand gravel mix for blindage per 10 sqm including cost and conveyance of all materials and stacking them at site to departmental gauge for pre measurement, labour charges for spreading metal and gravel /sand gravel mix, hand packing to camber watering with all leads for water and compaction by 80-100 KN vibratory road roller, water sprinkler and all other tools and plants employed, barricading etc complete as per clause 404 of Most Specification.

Painting with two coats of coaltarepoxy paint over two coat good quality zinc rich primer. This includes cleaning the surface to be painted to remove grease, oil and other impurities and coating the surface with Zinc rich primer (85% ±5% zinc content)as per IS 14177:1994 and then application of two coats of coaltar epoxy paint

Supplying and fixing of Side rubber seal - Z type with Mild Steel Flat plate throughout the length of Rubber seal and fitted with the existing structure by means of Mild Steel Washers, Nuts and Bolts including dismantling the old corroded bolts by cutting, removing old flats and hardened or damaged old rubber seals beam, then conveying, loading and unloading and stacking to section store, etc.., complete.

Supplying and fixing of Bottom Flat Rubber seal with Mild Steel Flat plate throughout the length of Rubber seal and fitted with the existing structure by means of Mild Steel Washers, Nuts and Bolts including dismantling the oldcorroded bolts by cutting, removing old flats and hardened or damaged old rubber seals beam, then conveying, loading and unloading and stacking to section store, etc.., complete.

Fabricating, supplying and fixing of 63mm dia Screw Rod made up of Mild Steel duly machined and fully threaded to suit the Head set Assembly and provided with required holes. Conveying and leading the screw rod to the worksite. Fixing the screw rod to the shutter gusset plate with required bolt and nut in proper alignment to the head set including dismantling the existing damaged screw rod,conveying and stacking at section store. The Screw rod should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. Fabricating, supplying and fixing of Shutter Groove Angle made up of 100x100x10mm Mild Steel angle for required height including welding hold fast of size 40x40x6mm Mild steel angle 3 Nos on both sides and conveying and leading the groove angle to the vents. Fixing the angle to the grooves in proper alignment including dismantling the existing damaged groove angles, conveying and stacking at section store. The groove angle should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. The rate including cost of materials, consumables, labours, charges for all fabricating and hoisting equipments, conveyance, petty civil works and warranty for 5 years etc., complete.

Fabricating, supplying and fixing of Shutter Groove Angle made up of 65x65x6mm Mild Steel angle for required height including welding hold fast of size 25x25x6mm Mild steel angle 2 Nos on both sides and conveying and leading the groove angle to the vents. Fixing the angle to the grooves in proper alignment including dismantling the existing damaged groove angles, conveying and stacking at section store. The groove angle should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of red oxide primer. Fabricating, Supplying and fixing of Top Beam made up of 300x140mm (ISMB 300) duly drilled to suit the Head Set Assembly with required bed bolt made out of 25mm mild steel round rod duly threaded with suitable anchorage arrangements to a height of 0.90m with necessary Fish plate made out of 20mm mild steel plate of size 0.23x 0.30m 2 Nos to place the beam in position including petty civil works and painting with two coats of Anticorrosive black paint with one coat Red Oxide primer etc., including dismantling old beam conveying, loading and unloading and stacking to section store warranty for 5 years etc.., complete.

Fabricating, Supplying and fixing of Top Beam made up of 150x75mm (ISMB 200) duly drilled to suit the Head Set Assembly with required bed bolt made out of 25mm mild steel round rod duly threaded with suitable anchorage arrangements to a height of 0.60m with necessary Fish plate made out of 16mm mild steel plate of size 0.20x 0.30m 2 Nos with required holes. Conveying and leading the top beam arrangements to the work site. Fixing the top beam arrangements at the top of the vent in correct position including dismantling the existing eroded top beam, conveying and stacking and the section stores. The top beam should be painted with two coats of AC black paint over one coat of Red Oxide primer. The Rate including cost of materials, labours, charges for all fabricating and hoisting equipments, cost of petty civil works conveyance charges for labours and materials and warranty for 5 years etc.., complete.

Fabricating, Supplying and erection of Screw gearing steel shutters of size above 1.00 m and upto 2.00m width consist of skin plate made out of 8mm thick mild steel plate and horizontally stiffened with 100x50mm mild steel channel at an interval not more than 0.50m and vertical stiffeners made out of same section at an interval not more than 0.60m and provided with 8mm thick mild steel gusset plate of required size on both sides fastened with rust free bolts and nuts etc. Conveying the fabricated shutter by using lorries including loading, unloading and leading the shutter to the vent. Dismantling the eroded shutter and shuttering arrangements by using necessary gas cutting equipment. Erecting the new shutter and the shuttering arrangements in the vent in proper position by using necessary hoisting equipment. The shutter shall be painted with two coats of Anticorrosive black paint over one coat of Red Oxide Primer. The rate including cost of materials consumables, labours power charges, conveyance charges for all equipment required conveying the dismantled materials to the section stores, cost of petty civil works, trial operation of shutter and warranty for 5 years etc.,complete.
