CWE/CHM(U)-134/2025-26 REPLACEMENT OF PASSENGER LIFTS AT COMMAND HOSPITAL (WC) CHANDIMANDIR UNDER GE(U) CHANDIMANDIR (PARA 35 OF DWP 2020)

Phase-I (Supply, Installation, testing and commisioning of lifts and connected works)

Taking down of existing 16/ 20 Passenger lift from existing bays at command hospital along with all connected electrical, mechanical connections and deposited to MES store yard with suitable arrangement of transportation and provision of temporary wooden door shutter at each landing door opening at every floor for safety of the users till installation of new lift complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Design supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of electrically operated gearless 16 Passenger (1088 Kg) capacity lifts to serve 6 floors i.e. G + 5 upper floors (6 stops and 6 openings) in the existing lift well, conforming to all relevant IS, speed 1.0 metre/sec with rope technology with machine room, car and counter weight solid type automatic micro stroke button control, microprocessor based controller, simplex DX with FC control suitable for 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz, AC supply, independent operation with AC Variable Voltage Variable Frequency [AC VVVF] drive control [closed loop] with power saving regenerative drive with all standard accessories, simplex automatic & manual dual controlled operation with suitable gearless motor traction type with and without attendant, suitable for synchronised operation, automatic power operated centre opening sliding type stainless steel (SS 304) doors of minimum thickness 1.5 mm with vandal proof finish, door dimension shall be 1000 mm x 2000 mm integral height, Car Design shall be as per OEM, ....contd.

Car Panel Finish with minimum 1.5 mm thick SS Vandal proof textured, having full curtain infrared sensor safety (3D infra red sensors for car doors along the full height), UPS based Automatic Rescue Device [ARD] system and suitable batteries, Floor position digital indicators in car and all landings with call indicating lights, built in voice announcing system without hand set, Correction drive to next level, Emergency alarm@ main floor, car call backward, over load function, constant indication/buzzer, bypass load funnction, auto cut off Fan and light, provn of Manual Rescue Operation in case of failure of ARD or other electrical devices, centralised hoisting for lesser vibration and smooth travel, pit ladder, Micro Movement LED based Buttons, Load Weighing Device (LWD) direction and position Indicator In car & Landing, contd....

[af] Directional signs indicating the location of an accessible lift to transport persons with disabilities at all usable levels shall be provided at a location that is clearly visible from the accessible building entrance. The directional signs shall incorporate a representation of the international symbol of accessibility in compliance with Clause B-6.4.1 of NBC of India 2016. [ag] Solid cast iron blocks only shall be used for Counterweight. No other castings shall be permitted. [ah] The mild steel machined guide rails shall only be permitted. the minimum thickness of guide rails shall be 16mm for the car and 10mm for the counterweight. [aj] Providing and fixing landing toe guards from the bottom of the sill support upto the next floor door header level to cover the exposed wall surfaces with 1.5 mm thick GI sheet, complete with all necessary fixing accessories, fasteners and supports to the wall surface as specified and as per OEM recommendation.

Additional Notes for Ser item Nos. 2.00 & 3.00: (i) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100 with OEM of lift/ elevators who meets the QR criteria mentioned in MOU format for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of lifts and provision of attending any defect during defect liability period of 02 years. Format of MOU has been attached at serial page No. 139 to 148 of tender documents. (ii) The Contractor along with Lift Manufacturer/ OEM shall arrange and conduct a comprehensive presentation at Accepting officer’s premises in presence of user after bid submission end date and as per time and date decided by Accepting officer covering all points as mentioned in MOU failing which the bid will be summarily rejected and the Financial Bid shall not be opened.
