M&L Scarifying or picking gravelled, WBM surfaces in area exc 400 sqm exc 50 mm and n.exc 100mm deep complete and getting out the debris from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with crushed stone aggregates (granite or trap or basalt) of grading 02 (63mm to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread rolled with 08 to 10 tonne power roller and consolidated to a required camber and gradient completely all as specified and directed.

Labour only for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with crushed stone aggregates (granite or trap or basalt) of grading 02 (63mm to 40mm size) spread rolled with 08 to 10 tonne power roller and consolidated to a required camber and gradient completely all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with mechanical compressor tor remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.85 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the surfaces with mechanical compressor tor remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.25 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified

M&L premixed bituminous macadam with binder content 4 % by weight of total mix of paving bitumen VG-30 compacted thickness 75mm or less, laid and rolled to required camber and gradient using power roller etc all as specified. (Note: Premixed bituminous macadam shall be brought from Hot Mix Plant and spreading shall be done using mechanical paver and SDAC shall be done within 48 hours after completion of rolling and consoliation of BM).

M&L bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 penetration, spread using mechanical paver and rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity.(Note: SDAC shall be brought from Hot Mix Plant and spreading shall be done using mechanical paver ).

M&L Repairs to pot holes any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting round edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (incl supply of metal) and making good by applying tack coat@ 5 kg per 10 sq m, using paving bitumen VG-10 putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.0 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc, road marking n.exc 100 mm width using thermo plastic paint (Hot application) white/yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillers etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be confirming to BS-6086 of most specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufacturer's instructions complete as all specified and directed.
