REPAIRS TO DRAIN CULVERTS STONE PITCHING GRASS CUTTING AND SHOULDER DRESSING ETC IN TECH AREA AT AFS JORHAT UNDER GE AF JORHAT

Mechanized clearing of vegetation and grass around the Runway/Taxi track and link roads of Runway within Air Force Station Jorhat by providing 01 No. brush cutter having capacity not less than 1.6 HP capacity and model type UMK 435T UEDT (including 01 driver, 01 No. Helper including necessary fuel, oil and lubricants etc) & removing grass off the premises all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: (a) Daily log sheet/log book to be maintained along with users certificate as per Appx 'A' (enclosed to the tender documents) to be enclosed while claiming running payment/Final Bill. (b) The cut grass/vegetation shall be removed out of the Air Force Station Area daily.

Cleaning of existing monsoon drains of avg depth not exc.1.00 mtr, by removal of silt, sludge etc. from drain bed , to ensure free flow of storm water including disposal of silt, sludge etc from drain bed to a distance exceeding 250m but not etc 500m complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Cleaning of drain shall be as per users requirement (once before Mansoon and once after Mansoon or as necessiated & certified by users).

Dismantling brick (laid flat or on edge) (in floors, channels, curves, aprons, etc) (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any morter, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster, any description on brick wall or on concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc and removing same from the site(s) complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channels 600mm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement incl forms moulds mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, laid flat as in side walls of brick drains in slope, jointed and bedded in cm 1:6 complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for Rendering 15mm thick in cm 1:4 on fair faces of work, finishing even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L hand packing (any thickness) at back of wall as back filling in drain wall of broken stone or boulders to the required level complete all as specified and directed by Engr-inCharge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
