Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The Tender are invited as per Standard Tender bid document KW-1

Conditional Tenders will not be considered

All relevant documents as per the KW-1 need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in KPPP portal.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tender without assigning any reason.

The contractor has make his own arrangements for procurement of all the required materials and the materials so procured shall confirm to the relevant IS Specifications or Equivalent and obtain necessary quality certificate from authorized quality control.

The Contractor is fully responsible for the Equipment / Material until the same is handed over to the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER in an operating condition after commissioning. The Contractor is responsible for the proper maintenance of equipment / material as well as protection of the same against theft, elements of nature, damages etc., while in his custody as well as after erection until the same is taken over by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER under due acknowledgment in writing

All the documents required as per technical qualification criteria needed to be uploaded in Original or Attested by any official not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Notary

The Contractors should submit all the Documents as uploaded in Original or duly attested by a Notary/an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer on or before opening of Technical Bid as Notified

Name, address, and telephone, telex, and fax numbers of the contractor is to be provided

Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) from Practicing Chartered Accountant is preferred in Annual Turn over

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work and make themselves familiar with the local situation regarding the availability of the construction materials, workmen, land required for construction activities etc

The tenderer shall also disclose if there are any bankruptcy proceedings against him

The Contractor shall provide work program as per Clause 25 under the chapter Time control of conditions of contract. The contractor should adhere to the accepted execution plan submitted by him under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work

During the execution of the works, if any minor minerals are required, contractors have to abide by the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994 (as amended up to date). As per the prevailing rules for any use of minor minerals the contractor has to submit the Mineral Dispatch Permit obtained from Mines and Geology Department. If Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) is not submitted by the contractor along with the bill, the prevailing penalty and DMF contribution as per Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994 ( as amended from time to time) will be deducted from the contractors bill at the time of payment

The Work Done Certificates shall be issued by the Executive Engineer (if work done in Karnataka State), otherwise it shall be issued/ counter signed by Superintending Engineer (if work is done in other states)

A copy of GST registration certificate should be uploaded

The contractor shall quote the rates without adding GST for either materials or works contract (Service). GST payable by the contractor under this works contract will be paid to the contractor separately over and above the contractors bid amount. The increase if any in the GST shall not be paid in the extended period of Contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the Authority.

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per Common SR 2023-24 and prevailing GST (18 Percent of Amount put to Tender) amount is kept in form of Overhead sum in sanctioned estimate. According to guidelines in Common SR Amount put to tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. The item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly. Declaration Certificate must be attached mandatorily

If the GST rates are revised during the contract period, payment will be made/withdrawn accordingly

For Works estimate cost more than Rs. 100.00 Lakhs : For Quality control tests of materials the contractor should provide required Rammer with Core Cutter, Balance and Moisture Meter, size 15x15x15 cms Mould Sets and for testing of sand and metal set of required mesh etc

As per Govt Circular No.Sa.Ni.E/137/M.Sa.V/2017 (Tech) Bangalore, Dtd:07-10-2017 this work is reserved for Schedule Caste (SC) Contractors. The Schedule Caste (SC) Contractors Should upload a Valid Caste Certificate of Schedule Caste (SC) & Domicile Certificate of the State Karnataka for more than 10 years
