REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT OF MD/OTM ACCN UNDER AGE B/R (P) AT ITARANA ALWAR

Demolition of existing treatment of any description, any thickness including cement plaster from the roof surfaces of buildings including cleaning of top surfaces in all respect and preparing it for further treatment and taking out and removing the rubbish from site all as directed.

M & L for rendering 20 mm thick on roof slab in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with WPC 3 % by weight of cement including finishing fair and even all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L PCC 1:2:4, type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) laid to thickness 40mm thick over roof slab in panels the size of panels shall 1.00 to 1.50 Metre in length and breadth, levelling the joints 10 to 15mm wide , the space for joint shall be filled with bitumen and sand in (1:3) etc as in levelling course, finished even & smooth w/o using extra cement.

M&L for cleaning of all loose dirt and dust from roof and priming the surface with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm conforming to IS : 3384 and applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3mm thick weighing not less than 3.00 Kg/Sqm, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/Sqm) and upper side of membrane thermally insulated with white gravel finish uniformly embedded during manufacturing process. It shall be laid by torch application having side over lap 75 mm and at the end 100 mm, all overlaps and joints shall be sealed by torch application. For parapet, membrane shall be taken to a height of minimum 60 cm and inserted inside the parapet in a groove to a depth of 65 mm. The same shall be finished by a membrane flashing. Note : The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps & portion inserted in groove which shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.

M&L for preparation of surfaces by removing existing roof treatment of any type / description by mechanical scarification or by any other effective mechanical means and prepare the normal surface thotoughly by cleaning washing and removing dust , dirt , oil grease , any loose particles etc on existing concrete surface of RCC Chajja , projected balcony , canopy , parapet ,roof slab etc and applying one coat of water based primer composed of acrylic emulsion polymer diluted with water in the ratio 2:1 and dried for minimum 2-3 hrs and over it applying three coats of heavy duty elastic resilient acrylic polymer reinforced with micro fibres & fungicidal @ 0.5 Litre per Sqm in each coat and dried for 6-8 hrs after each coat with and including woven glass fibre mesh 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm put between first and second coat complete all as specified and directed. Note: Application shall be carried out through authorised applicator of Manufacturer only. Each stage shall be passed by GE/Engr-in-Charge before laying further coat. Make L Dr. Fixit , STP or equivalent as approved by GE/Engr-in-Charge

Scrapping, chiseling with brush hand hammering scrubbing by electric tools, mechnical means etc and clear the concrete surface with blower and disposal of all unserviceable material upto a distance of 500 m to 1 km and dispose of same in proper layer all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M & L for rendering 20 mm thick in polymer cement mortar 1:3 prepared with latex SBR by the weight of cement on concret and other surfaces including finshing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. Make : Liquid of M/s Choksey / STP / Sika/ Pidilite as approved by GE. Note:- Exact qty and application process of chemical is strictly as per manufacture's guidlines.

M & L for repairing cracks in wall, roofs, any cement concrete surface by making V groove along the crack size of V groove shall be groove along the crack, cleaning surface by using wirebrush and sealing with crack filler of M/s Choksey, Sika, Fosroc, Pidilite as approved by GE filling the grooves and all, as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Exact qty and application process of chemical is strictly as per manufacture's guidlines.

M&L for waterproofing treatment by water proofing liquid after proper cleaning of the new surface free of dust and applying the first coat (by Brush only)@ 4-4.5 Sqmt/Lit , allowing it to dry for 24 hrs and applying the second coat over it on horizonal and vertical surface all as specified and directed. Note : Application shall be carried out through authorised applicator of manufacturer only and as per guidelines of Manufacturer strictly. Each stage shall be passed by Engr-in-charge/GE before laying further coat. Make: Sunshield 100 of M/s Choksey or FOSROC / STP / PIDILITE / SIKA as approved by GE.

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked).

Disconnecting existing water tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and refixing in position of capacity exc 250 litres & not exc 500 litres.

S&F as in repairs Ball brass valve, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe 20mm bore or brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces in ceiling, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

Material and labour preparation of newly plastered surface of ceiling/soffits of chajjas & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0, using 12.50mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) of radius 75mm provided as the junnction of roof and parapet wall and surfaces shall be painted with bitumen grade 30/40 confirming to IS 73 @ 1.20 Kg/sqm over a coat of bituminous complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in base of tanks including finishing even and smooth complete all as specified.

Dismantling water tank of capacity exc 250 litres & not exc 500 litres of any description and removing from site complete all as directed.

Dismantling water tank of capacity exc 500 litres & not exc 1000 litres of any description and removing from site complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing 500 Litre capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks double layered (cylindrical vertical with closed top) ISI marked, hoisted & fixed in position & making necessary arrangements for fixing inlet, outlet & over flow pipe & provision of wash out pipe etc. complete as specified in SSR Part-I.

Supply and fixing 1000 Litre capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks double layered (cylindrical vertical with closed top) ISI marked, hoisted & fixed in position & making necessary arrangements for fixing inlet, outlet & over flow pipe & provision of wash out pipe etc. complete as specified in SSR Part-I.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors and similar works of Gde E-165(Fe 290) including welding etc. complete all as specified & as directed.
