Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches manually, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe and laying new pipe line, for laying cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

No payment shall be admissible for excessive width if any excavated at site.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exceeding 1.5m upto 3m in depth, exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, complete all as specified and as directed.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exceeding 3m upto 4.5m in depth, exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and waste of timbering as planking and strutting for excavations in trenches in soil, including wales, struts, open poling boards, etc. of any depth as may be necessary and fixing and removal complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Timbering shall be provided (as required and as decided by GE in writing) at locations of required depth

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Earth filling in existing unserviceable manholes including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Earth obtain from excavation will be reused.

Dismantling of existing sewage line of 150/200/300mm dia including removal of debries to a distance exceeding 1 KM but not exceeding 5 KM and making good to ground complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ/Sch A.

Supply and laying DWCPE (SN8) drain pipes 150mm nominal dia as per IS-16098 (Part-II), laid in trenches on bed including all accessories/fittings/jointing ring, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earth work, bedding and pedestal /anchorage if required shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ/Sch A.

Supply and laying DWCPE (SN8) drain pipes 200mm nominal dia as per IS-16098 (Part-II), laid in trenches on bed including all accessories/fittings/jointing ring, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earth work, bedding and pedestal /anchorage if required shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ/Sch A.

Supply and laying DWCPE (SN8) drain pipes 300mm nominal dia as per IS-16098 (Part-II), laid in trenches on bed including all accessories/fittings/jointing ring, jointing and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earth work, bedding and pedestal /anchorage if required shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ/Sch A.

Material and labour for laying and compacting 100 mm (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base (GSB) Grade II (grading and physical requirements as per Table 400-1 of MORTH specifications) spreading in a single layer using graded stone aggregate of 53mm and below, watering, ramming and finishing to required longitudinal grading complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates for cradle and haunching against the sides of pipe any dia after these are laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The cradle and haunching shall be provided at locations as decided by GE in writing.

Supply & laying RCC pipe 600mm dia class NP2 laid and jointed complete with collars including laying pipes level or to falls in trenches etc on concrete bed or directly on hard ground as directed and making joints and testing complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Excavation, earth work and bed shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item )

Material and labour for PCC ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of brick work, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 150mm x 150mm size salt glazed stone ware gully traps, square or round mouthed, type 'P' including precast factory made light duty ISI marked RCC cover of size 300mmx300mmx50mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for 100 mm bore cast iron soil waste and vent pipe (spun cast pipe) in any length with or without ears, laid in trenches or in floor jointing with cement mortar including taking out old existing pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in repair 100mm bore cast iron Bends (any radius) with duck's foot or heel rest complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces including mixing of liquid WPC in mortar @ as per manufacturer instruction per bag of cement of 50kg, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 150 mm dia , making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section ) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 200 to 300 mm dia , making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section ) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains of 600 mm dia , making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section ) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Precast M25 factory made medium duty ISI marked as in manhole cover and frame (in replacement), set in CM (1:6) including necessary form work including dismantling and removeing old unserviceable cover complete all as specified and as directed (Reinforcement and MS handle shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this Sch).

De-sludging from existing manholes, septic tanks of any capacity size and depth including disposal of sludge etc and taking off the manhole cover and placing it in the same position after taking out sludge through mechnically sewage suction pump and directly store in covered container etc including plugging of existing line and removal of same if requied for emptying the manhole and connection of new line in same manholes complete and removing the sludge in covered van/trolly to a distance exceeing 1 KM but not exceeding 5 KM and dumped in to ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of RCC as in manhole and similar items of existing unserviceable sewage line and removing rubbish from the site to a distance exceeing 1 KM but not exceeding 5 KM and dumped in to ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for RCC M-30 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation , footings , including rafts , foundation beams , plinth beams , bases for columns and basement slab etc complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Reinforcement and form work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for RCC M-30 (design mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in static tank wall, retaining wall and basement wall and like of any thickness above top of footing complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Reinforcement and form work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for RCC M-30 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns and the like, finished exposed surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Reinforcement and form work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Use and Waste of formwork to faces of walls , retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttressess, etc; vertical or to batter for flat or curved fair finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and Waste of formwork for fair finished formwork flat/ curved to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits ( if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work verticle or to batter fair finished the surface of concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and Waste of formwork for rough finished formwork flat/ curved to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work not exceeding 200 m thick ( Horizontal or sloping)fair finished the surfaces of concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia , cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild steel bars of TMT 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length bent to Shape required, incl cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hookng ends and binding with and incl mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 12mm dia round bars FE-410 gde E-250 for handle complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for MS sheet plain in edges of manhole cover and similar work cut to size holes punched and fixed to RCC manhole cover edges riveted or welded including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F PVC coated factory made MS rungs of size 263mm (L)x165mm (W), overall length 691mm made out of 16mm dia round bar with overall thickness after coating as 25mm fixed in RCC while casting complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in coping and benching etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of existing road including WBM, soling etc as in patches and cleaning and staking of the same for reuse including leveling & compaction of road area complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour only for soling (or sub base) 200 mm thick (spread thickness) with crushed/broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with 8 to 12 ton power roller and consolidating to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Material obtain from demolition of road shall be reused.

Labour only 100mm thick (compacted thickness) Water Bound Macadam (WBM) laid in one layer with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50mm to 20mm size), spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to requried gradient and camber etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Material obtain from demolition of road shall be reused.

Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces as directed to remove all loose dirt etc including removing the loose dirt/ mud etc to a distance minimum 1.5 m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including Supplying, laying, spreading 30 mm consolidated thickness of using paving bitumen (VG-30) at the rate of 9.8kg/10Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, laying & spreading upto 75 mm thick (consolidated thickness) premix bituminous macadam filling in depression (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer laid manually with using paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4 % by weight of total mix, laid / rolled and compacted / consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cement concrete of any description , kerb stone of any description, any size and shape, stack aside, cleaning , separating serviceable aside for re-use complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in kerb stone of size as directed including use and waste of necessary form work and set in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing/laying old kerb stone (reused old serviceable kerb stone obtained from dismantling of kerb stone item here-in-above) including set in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description including tiles ( if requied) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level).

Dismantling of interlocking tile of any description any size and staking serviceable tile separately complete all as specified and directed/

Material & labour for cement concrete 100mm thick (1:4:8) type D2, using (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of floors, making rough to receive further finish complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying/fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory casted (made by using PVC/ Rubber moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using grey cement and no pigment, shape haxagon / trigular / zigzag / I-shaped etc, as directed, confirming to relevant IS, laid over and including 25mm thick layer of sand cushining and filling the interstices etc with sand complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying/fixing old serviceable interlocking paver block (obtained from dismantling of tile item of BOQ shall be reused), laid over and including 25mm thick layer of sand cushining and filling the interstices etc with sand complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) of any section including taking out embedded portion in concrete/ brick work, etc, and making good to disturbed natural ground complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavating in post holes or similar holes each not exc 0.50 Cum getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc 25cm watering and ramming surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and making good as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, bed block for embedded fencing posts & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling for bolting or rivetting and welding etc. and similar works conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Mild steel Round bars 10 mm dia for fixing to chain link fencing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 10mm dia neck, length of bolt 40mm, with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with 3mm thick washers and one hexagonal or square nut, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing mild steel galvanised chain link fencing of mesh size 50mm x 50 mm and dia of wire not less than 3 mm etc., including provision of binding wire, fixing only 10 mm dia bars, including dismantling of old fencing any type complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Supply only round bars shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ. (ii) Labour for cut to length, bent to shape as required including bending, cranking etc of round bars shall be included in the unit rate of this item.

Supply and fixing galvanised, 2 strand steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at at 65 mm to 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing and tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staple or steel pins, etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Each line of wire shall be measured and paid separately).

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of steel water tubing (GI pipe) 25 mm bore medium grade galvanised including tube fittings ISI marked Viz Tees, Socket bends elbows, union, nipple, reducer etc screwed and socketed joint including cutting and threading of pipe as required laid in trenches/under road complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of steel water tubing (GI pipe) 20 mm bore medium grade galvanised including tube fittings ISI marked Viz Tees, Socket bends elbows, union, nipple, reducer etc screwed and socketed joint including cutting and threading of pipe as required laid in trenches/under road complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Dismantling of bricks ( laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons etc laid dry or laid in any mortar complete all as specified.

Material and labour for Brick work with using well burnt clay bricks (sub class 'B' old size burnt clay bricks), laid flat, as in sides of drain, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in cement mortar (1:3), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Brick work (with old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantling item of BOQ shall be reused), laid flat, as in sides of drain, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in cement mortar (1:3), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Brick work with well burnt clay, old size sub class 'B' bricks, laid on edge as in sides of drain, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:4) and flush pointed in cement mortar (1:3), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Brick work (with old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantling item of BOQ shall be reused), laid on edge as in sides of drain, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:4) and flush pointed in cement mortar (1:3), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. (inner girth only measured) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC type B-2 (1:2:4), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates in surface channels and drains including necessary form-work, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out from trench existing old CI/DI pipe of size 100mm bore spigot and socketed ends (including all fitting) and including bailing out dirty/muddy water if necessary complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ (ii) The rate for bailing out dirty /muddy wateris included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Laying, jointing, commissioning and testing old serviceable pipe CI/DI pipe of size 100mm bore in trenches after cleaning, removing rusted particle and mud particles of inside and out side surfaces of pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) Excavation, earth work and specials/ fittings shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ (ii) The rate for bailing out dirty /muddy wateris included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing of centrifugallly cast Ductile iron pipe (DI pipe) of size 100 mm bore with spigot and socketed ends, class K-7 confirming to IS-8329/2000 suitable for and including (push on) rubber gasket joints (ISI marked) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Cost of joints including jointing materials shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by contractor. (b) Earth work and specials/ fittings shall be measured and paid separetly.

Supplying & fixing Ductile iron/Cast iron (DI/CI) specials/ fittings (ISI marked) of any size, any type like bends (any type, radius & angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot), (one end flanged and other socket or spigot) (all end flanged), tail pieces, collars, caps & plugs suitable for spigot & socketed pipes etc including taking out old fittings complete all as specified and as directed.
