PROVISION OF INDEPENDENT WATER PIPE LINE UNDER AGE E/M NO 1 OF GE (U) SECUNDERABAD

S&F Ductile iron pressure pipes 150 mm bore class K9, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 150 mm bore for inserting branch connections etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Laying of Pipe line:- (a) The contractor is responsible for obtaining the approval from Police Department for Traffic Diversion and PWD for road cutting and the expenditure for road cutting to be included in quoted rate . (c) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures, Under Ground HT/LT/OFC Cables etc during the course of execution.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve chamber of size 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, 159 mm thick, 159 mm wide off sets all-round over 100 mm thick hard core, brick masonry walls built in CM 1:6, 59 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, with out using extra cement internally and 159mm below GL externally and top of floor including excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil, 5 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 59 mm x 59 mm x 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of 150 MM DI rising Spindle Resilient seated Gate Valve PN 16 (Soft Sealed) soft sealing gate valves (Sluice valves) with body bonnet of ductile cast iron of grade GGG-40/SG-400/15 or GGG-50/SG-500/7 or equivalent grade as per IS 3896- Part - 2-1985 and subsequent revisions, wedge fully rubber lined with EPDM food grade quality and Seals of NBR and the valve should be vacuum tight and 100 % leak proof with face to face dimension as per BS 5163-89/IS 14846-2000/DIN 3202 F4 and Valves should be electrostatic powder coating both inside and outside pocket less body passage including all jointing materials (Gasket, Nut bolts etc) connecting , testing and taking down old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting of existing DI/GI water main line in position in trenches of size up to 150 mm dia for insertion of tee 150 x 150x100 for connection including excavation earth work re-filling etc all as specified and directed .

M&L cutting of road /cement surface/tiles up to a size not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m depth for laying of water pipe lines making good the disturbed surfaces so as to match with existing finishing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 , cement motor in CM 1:2 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix Cast Iron Air Valves with two air Outlets, conforming to IS 14845 of size 100 mm dia bore double acting (DS2) heavy duty including providing jointing material such as rubber fiber board gasket, suitable size bolts and nuts and washers, necessary supports, raising DI pipe 100 mm dia double side and not less than 1.20 Mtr length complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in Cement mortar 1:6

M&L rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even & smooth without using extra cement in CM 1:4.

Excavation in trenches n.exe 1.5m wide and n.exe 1.5m deep for laying pipe line incl getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in incl spreading watering and well ramming in layers in hard/dense soil each not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exe 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exe 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lay and fixing steel water tubes, medium grade, galvanised with all fitting laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed including fittings, 100 mm (4”) dia.

M&L for boring horizontally holes under the road below 1.5 mtrs from the road /hard surface by trenches technology using ultra sound techanic and including necessary machine with out damaging the existing road and getting out any type of soil and disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs from the site of work including supply and lay DI/GI pipe up to 150 mm dia suitable for MPA work pressure complete all as specified

Supply and laying pipes ERW steel inlcuding specials, nominal dia 150mm as per IS 3589 (1981) 6.00mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of ductile iron specials and fittings class K9 such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee pieces, single branch. "Y junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable for DI pipes of flanged/socket ends off sizes bore complete all as specified and directed .
