A. Chandipur Embankment Extension (Construction of Additional length of 460m Protection work of Panthaniwas.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading into the transportation vehicles and unloading from transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm. ,laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm including removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debries from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work, watering and compaction with all types of compacts equipments under OMC conditions to attain minimum proctor dry density of 95.00% for all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control test including construction, maintenance, watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries and all incidental charges required for the completion of work, complete in all respect including cost of royalty with labour cess as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be taken on finished compacted section. Borrow area is to be arranged by the agency at his cost and responsibility)

Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading in to transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts,delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5 cm to 7 cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm in depth including construction and maintenance of haul road, cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation in hard soil by manual/mechanical means including leveling and dressing the bed and depositing the excavated earth away from the working area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries etc. with all leads, lifts, delifts, cost of labour, cess etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 100 mm thickness with IRC grade - I material ( 90 mm to 45 mm) to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tones in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming using moorum as binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess including cost of labours, hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 100 mm thickness with IRC grade - III material ( 53 mm to 22.4 mm ) as per table-400-I to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tones in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming using stone screened dust as binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates , watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess etc. including labours and hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, hire and running charges of machineries and quality control test complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular box heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (60 : 40) proportion and laying in sub-base of road in layers not exceeding 100 mm thick with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess of all materials including watering and compaction to required density in OMC condition with P.R.R., hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) In slope (mess type 6x8, thickness 0.30m) made out of hexagonal woven wire mesh type zinc with PVC coated gabion boxes of different size such as (3m x 2.00m x 0.30m), (4.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m), (5.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m) and (6.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m) with hard granite stones of nominal size between 0.10m to 0.20m

b) In Toe Wall) (mess type 10x12, thickness 0.50m) made out of hexagonal woven wire mesh type zinc with PVC coated gabion boxes of different size such as (4m x 1.00m x 0.50m), (3.00m x 1.00m x 0.50m), (2.00m x 1.00m x 0.50m) with hard granite stones of nominal size between 0.15m to 0.25m

Quarrying, Collecting, supplying blasted hard granite stone boulder of 15 cm to 30 cm size from approved quarry free from weather skin surface and other deleterious materials, packing the stones in rip raps and slope protection works in river embankments to required profile in all heights and depths including filling the interstices with small stones, wedging and hammering with 5Kg. hammer including fixing wave breakers with all cost, conveyance, labour, royalty, cess, hire and running charges of machineries and transportation of all materials of approved quality with all leads, lifts, delifts handling and re-handling charges including all other incidental charges required to complete the work as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished level sections)
