PAINTING: The scope of work includes cleaning , sand papered to achieve a shiny, brush mark-free surface, addressing rust with steel wire brushes. Applying one coat of aluminum-filled phenolic amine epoxy primer (125 microns DFT), followed by two coats of phenolic amine epoxy intermediate (150 microns DFT/coat with a 24-hour interval between coats), and putting a finishing coat of aliphatic polyurethane (50 microns DFT) in Fire Red colour as per technical specification

Welding: Butt Joint of carbon steel pipes and fittings using SMAW process. Root pass shall be by TIG welding. Liquid penetrant (LP) examination shall be 100% of each joints on root pass and 10% on final pass.

MS Supports: Supply of materials, fabrication and erection of MS structural steel as per IS 2062 Gr.B with original linkable mill test certificate for supporting pipes and hose box including one coat of epoxy primer and two coat of epoxy painting. The structural material shall be in the form of angle, channel, beam, plate, pipe, rod, fasteners, clamp etc.

Opening and enclosing of brick wall: Opening of brick wall of average thickness of 150 mm to 300mm for routing of pipe & ducts and enclosing the same with proper PVC sleeves, providing brick filling and cement mixture at various locations.

Hydrostatic Test: External hydrant has to be tested hydraulically with the existing pumping arrangement as per the procedure mentioned in section-5 of tender document.

ANCHOR FASTENERS: Supply and installation of Heavy Duty Anchor or equivalent for providing pipe supports where ever embedded plates are not available / provided. The anchor shall be galvanized steel HSL4-G M12 x 127 mm

Supply, handling and erection of Flat Flange (Matching hydrant valve flange) IS 2062 / B-16.5/CL-150# With Rubber Gasket, Nut bolt (1367 grade 5.6) and washer.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M20 grade using 300 kg/cum of PPC, 20mm maximum size graded aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications. Dosage of PCE based admixture as per workability requirment at site conditions. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

Providing straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost and testing of reinforcement steel at thrid party NABL lab. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department. Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine washed crushed graded stone aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including testings as per QAP, weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, 14 days curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footing, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F. M30 grade with 380 kg of PPC per cu.m. of concrete upto plinth level

Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.
