1. Kathua Canal Distributary Gate D1 (9' X 6') Annual maintenance / repair of the distributary gate installed on Kathua canal by way of dismantling of winch machine (5 ton capacity) after cutting / unscrewing the old rusted nuts and bolts and then extracting out the worn gear mechanism along with the bearings and stem rod. Loading in the load carrier for shifting to workshop for repair. Fabrication of worm gear and main gear as per sample and tempering them to withstand required load. Assembling the winch machine by providing and fitting of 2 no. bearings as per sample after greasing the gear mechanism. Loading back the winch machine in the load carrier for shifting to site of installation. Repairs to the leaf of the gate by welding exposed portion. The job includes removal of garbage, cleaning of area and cleaning of Gate leaf, frame channel with suitable solvent to make it dust free and then lubricating the gate leaf channels properly. The job also includes painting of both winch machine and gate by application of one coat of metal primer, coats of standard quality paint after rubbing and scraping of the surfaces with the sand paper. Assembling of all the parts of the winch machine and its fitments and testing the gate at site and satisfactory commissioning. The job includes the cost of material, skilled and unskilled labour charges, hire charges of gas cutter, tools and tackles and carriage.Complete Job. 2. Annual maintenance/ repair of below mentioned gates installed on kathua Canal by way of removal of garbage, cleaning of area and cleaning of Gate leaf by scrubbing , frame channel with suitable solvent to make it dust free and then lubricating the gate leaf channels properly. Removal of old rusted nut, bolts . Providing and fitting of bearings as per sample, nuts and bolts. Servicing of winch machine by way of greasing and oiling using standard quality grease after removing the old grease and washing / cleaning with kerosene oil or any other solvent to make it dust free. The job also includes painting of both winch machine and gate by application of one coat of metal primer, coats of standard quality paint after rubbing and scraping of the surfaces with the sand paper. Assembling of all the parts of the winch machine and its fitments and testing the gate at site and satisfactory commissioning. Annual maintenance / repair of the Cross gate installed on kathua canal by way of dismantling of winch machine (5 ton capacity) using manual labour and other tools & tackles. Straightening of stem rod by manual labour. Providing and fitting of nuts and bolts after cutting rusted one by welding. Providing and fitting of rain pipe, bearings as per sample The job includes removal of garbage, cleaning of area and cleaning of Gate leaf, frame channel with suitable solvent to make it dust free and then lubricating the gate leaf channels properly. Servicing of winch machine by way of greasing & oiling using standard quality grease after removing the old grease and washing / cleaning with kerosene oil or any other solvent to make it dust free. Job also includes fabrication of 1 no. gate operating handle. Repairs to the outer frame of the gate by removing / replacing old rusted damaged groove angles, base angles by cutting with gas cutter and fixing new channel 75mm X 8mm of length 25 feet with arc welding by using portable generator. Repairs to the leaf of the gate by welding exposed portions. The job also includes painting of both winch machine and gate by application of one coat of metal primer, coats of standard quality paint after rubbing and scraping of the surfaces with the sand paper. Assembling of all the parts of the winch machine and its fitments and testing the gate at site and satisfactory commissioning.
