Dismantling cement conglemerate / terrazzo floors 25 mm to 50 mm thick including concrete base (HSR 8.25)

Cement Concrete 1: 1 ½: 3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.42)

Providing and laying 60mm thick interlocking paver blocks ISI marked (IS code: 15658:2006) of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-35 as per IRC:SP:63-2004, over a bed of 25 mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.158]

Applying priming coat with cement primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surfaces (HSR 16.25)

Painting two coats with ready-mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls.(HSR 16.26)

Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 25mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per hour) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note I - The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mention in BOQ item No.56 Note II – To avoid milling to a depth more than specified, quantities shall also be calculated with levels before start of work and after completion of work of milling with GTS. Seven levels of carriageway (each), one at center and three on both sides at equal distance and 10 m center to center along length of road. The outermost levels will be 0.30mtr’ inside of road edge. The grid of levels before milling and after milling should be kept same. If the quantity of milled material as worked out with levels is more than 5% over theoretical quantity (i.e. Thickness 70mm x Surface area milled) then recovery of whole excessive quantity over theoretical quantity so milled by agency shall be recovered at twice the rates of the underneath layer laid to the milled layer i.e. BM or DBM. The rates shall be taken as equal to quoted rates if the same item is to be re-laid or to be worked out as (HSR + CP) /Analytical rate ± Tender allotted rates. If the quantity worked out is less than or equal to 5% over theoretical quantity then no recovery will be made. Note III - Before start of milling, levels with GTS shall be sent by EE to SE concerned. And SE after satisfying himself will submit the same to Headquarter through DO letter addressed to Chief Engineer Road. It should be submitted through mail as well as with hardcopy. The milling shall be taken in hand after waiting of any response from Headquarter. If no response is received within 7 days agency may be allowed to take in hand the work of milling. Similarly, after milling quantity calculations along with levels with GTS system shall be submitted and response of Headquarter be waited for 7 days after issue of DO letter and mail before taken in hand work of over layer.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Mastic Asphalt (Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-30 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the Temperature of surface not less than 100OC, protruding 1mm to 4mm over matic surface, all complete as per clause 516 f MORT&H specification (Vth revision)- 2013

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel pipe post 80 mm NB medium class 4 mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (600 mm X 600 mm X 750 mm) complete as per drawings Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Size 1200mm x 900 mm)

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminum composite panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminum on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB medium class 4mm thick embedded M-20 grade concrete foundation of size 450mmx450mmx600mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 900mm Equilateral Triangle.

Providing & fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M. S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900 mm and balance 300 mm of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Bituminous material @ Rs. 1400/-cum Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. i) Material obtained on scarification of bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The scarified material will be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) as per approval of employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. The material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency or reserve price whichever is high. The reserve price is as under :- Note :- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR. the unit and nomenclature given in HSR Shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non- schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the Conventional unit of that N.S Item as per practice in this department the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
