Improvement of Mouth of River Hansua against the Sea Erosion and Flood in Rajnagar Block of Kendrapara District.

Clearing and grubbing embankment land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth up to 300 mm., removal of existing stumps of tress dead or cut earlier stacking serviceable material for use or auction within the road land and disposal of all unserviceable material including removal top 150 mm. thick organic soil away from the road land as under Clause No. 201 & Section 200, Section 100 and CIause 112 of technical specification Part - I/II specification for Road & Bridge Works of MORTH (4th Revision) including full compensation inclusive costs for all contingencies, incidentals involved for the finished operations defect free item work to specification complete & direction of Engineer or his representative to satisfaction.

Earth work in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading in to the transportation vehicles and unloading from transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm, laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm, including removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debris from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work, watering and compaction with OMC condition with all types of compacting equipments for all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control testing charges including construction of haul roads, maintenance , watering, dewatering, lighting of haul roads & borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men & machineries with all incidental charges etc as required for completion of work, T & P materials required for work, complete in all respect including cost of royalty, Labour Cess etc. all complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be taken on finished & compacted level section. Borrow area is to be arranged by the agency at his own cost and responsibility)

Fine dressing of earth work in slopes of embankments including filling of rain cuts and slips with selected earth duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing the surface with compacted dub grass sods 8 Cm. to 10 Cm. thick including cost of collection, supplying, loading, unloading and transportation to work site, royalty and other taxes etc. of all materials with all leads, lifts and delifts including laying and trimming to form a level and compact surface in line with the slopes and grade of the embankment section including watering until the green growth of grass including mobilization and demobilization, labour charges, T & P & Labour Cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (Measurement will be taken after full survival of Turf).

Installation of Gabion Boxes/Mattress (Mesh Type 6 x 8, thickness - 0.3m) made out of hexagonal woven wire mesh type zinc with pvc coated gabion boxes of different size such as(3m x 2m x 0.3m; 4m x 2m x 0.3m; 5m x 2m x 0.3m; and 6m x 2m x 0.3m) and smaller sizes, as necessary, etc. as per requirement at site filled with hard granite stones of nominal size between 15 Cm to 30Cm, compacting the stones inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying, stiching with lacing wire and heavily galvanised steel rings of 3mm dia having tensile strength of 170kg/mm2 with a spacing of rings @200mm c/c and placing in position with help of cranes and by other mechanical means including at all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control testing charges with construction, maintenance , watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads all cost of materials, conveyance, taxes, machineries & Labour Cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (On Slope of Embankment)

Installation of Gabion boxes/Matress (Mesh Type 10 x12, thickness – 0.5m) made out of hexagonal woven wire mesh type zinc with pvc coated gabion boxes of different size (4m x 1m x 0.5m; 3m x1m x 0.5m; and 2m x 1m x 0.5m) or other sizes as per requirement at site filled with hard granite stones of nominal size between 0.15m to 0.25m) and compacting the stones inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying, stiching with lacing wire as indicated in the Technical Specifications and placing in position with help of cranes and by other mechanical means including at all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control testing charges with construction, maintenance , watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads all cost of materials, conveyance, taxes, machineries & Labour Cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (In Toe Wall)

Supplying, transporting and laying in proper position of ISO certified Geo-textile filter (GWF-40-220) underneath the hexagonal wire mesh type zinc with pvc coated gabion boxes as a filter layer as per technical specification including all cost of labour, material, conveyance &taxes etc. complete as per direction of Engineer.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures etc in all kinds of soil including sand, silt, loam, clay, mud, hard red earth, shales and compact moorum, stony earth and gravels mixed with stone boulders of size 0.014 Cum. to 0.50 Cum., soling of roads, paths and hard core and macadam surfaces, lean concrete, masonry with cement or lime mortar below ground level, etc. by manual or mechanical means including dressing and leveling the bed of foundation with all leads, lifts and delifts including providing coffer dam, dewatering and drainage arrangement from foundation, with slush removal, shoring, shuttering and pilling whenever necessary, ramming, leveling and dressing the foundation bed, breaking of the clods including stacking the useful excavated materials clear of work site and back filling in foundation and plinth including mobilization & demobilization, supplying, operation and maintenance of all machineries, equipments, materials, labour and T & P required for the work including supervision charges & Labour Cess etc. complete as per design, drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with coarse sand free from debris, watered and rammed with all leads, lifts and delifts, including cost, conveyance royalty & Labour Cess etc. complete and as per direction of the Engineer.

Providing & laying cement concrete conforming to M₁₅ grade in approved surface using 40 mm size & downgraded, black hard granite (crusher broken) stone chips of approved grading from approved quarry for RCC/CC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixture including hoisting and laying concrete in position at all leads, lifts, delifts etc, compacting with concrete vibrator, dewatering, all T & P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, construction of coffer dam / approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire & running charges of machineries, dewatering by suitable means required for the work, all cost, quality control testing charges, carriage, labour, royalty & Labour Cess etc. all complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing & laying of Cement Concrete conforming to M₂₀ grade design mix on approved surface with using 20 mm size and downgraded black hard granite (crusher broken) stone chips of approved grading from approved quarry for RCC/CC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixture including hoisting and laying concrete in position at all leads, lifts, delifts etc, compacting with concrete vibrator, dewatering, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, construction of coffer dam / approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire & running charges of machineries, dewatering by suitable means required for the work, all cost, quality control testing charges, carriage, labour, royalty & Labour Cess etc. all complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.
