Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. 82.62 Lakhs)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs. 20.66 Lakhs

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer should furnish qualification information as per section 3 of Standard Tender Document attached to this tender KW-2

All the Formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner.

The Tenderer should maintain the Work during defective liability period of 1 year.

The materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should be got attested by the Quality Control Authority before use on the work

Work done certificate should be issued by competent authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

The item rates quoted shall include cost of royalty charges on construction materials & other taxes as per the rates provided in prevailing cost & conveyance of all materials, Curing, Watering, unloading with all leads & lifts labour, hire charges of machinery equipments etc., complete including all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work

To qualify for award of contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last Five years i.e 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 (a) achieved in at least two financial years an average financial turnover (Usually not less than the two times the estimated annual payments under this contract) Submit the scanned copy of the Profit & loss Statement indicating the contract receipts certified by the chartered accountant with valid UDIN number i.e Rs.82.62 Lakhs

Tenderer who meet the above specified minimum qualifying crieteria, will only be qualified if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value under section 3.3

The Security deposit (including additional security for unbalanced tenders) shall be provided to the Employer no later than the date specified in the Letter of Acceptance and shall be issued in an amount and form and type of instrument acceptable to the Employer. The Security deposit shall be valid until a date 30 days from the date of expiry of Defects Liability Period and the additional security for unbalanced tenders shall be valid until a date 30 days from the date of issue of the certificate of completion

The tenderer should be a civil class-II & above PWD contractor issued by the Competent Authority

The Contractor should have Adhaar, PAN, GST certificates uploaded

All Scanned Documents of the Original should be up-loaded, Executive Engineer reserves the rights to verify the Original Documents before approval, 0riginal documents / Certificates for qualification shall be produced when called for during evaluation of tender

To qualify for Award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last Five years i.e. 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25 satisfactorily completed as prime contractor, at least one similar work value not less than 50% of the amount put to tender. (Scanned copy of the Work done Certificate issued by competent Authority of rank not less than Executive Engineer should be uploaded.)

Liquid assets and or availability of credit facilities of not less than (Credit lines/ Letters of Credit/ Certificates form Banks) for meeting the fund requirement etc., (usually 30% of the amount of contract)i.e.Rs.12.40 Lakhs

Value at present price level, of existing commitments and ongoing works documents to be submitted

Within 10 days of the receipt of the Letter of acceptance the successful tenderer shall deliver to the employer a security deposit

If the Tenderer intend to quote less than the estimated cost, the tenderer shall pay a DD for the tender difference amount quoted drawn in favor of Executive Engineer, KSDB, Belagavi Division, Belagavi payable at Belagavi from nationalized bank. The scanned copy of Tender Difference Amount DD should be uploaded in e-procurement platform before final date and time of closing

The successful tenderer shall pay Security Deposit in value equivalent to 5% of the entrusted amount of work in the form of e-Bank Guarantee at the time of agreement

The terms & conditions laid down in KTTP Act 1999 & rules 2000 with subsequent amendments are applicable.

The Executive Engineer, K.S.D.B., Belagavi Division, Belagavi reserves all the rights to accept/ Reject any or/all Tenders and to cancel the tender process at any stage prior to award of the contract without assigning any reason

If the Tenderer fails to start the work within the scheduled time period after the issue of Work Order, Executive Engineer holds the right to forfeit the FSD and the Tender Difference amount submitted

The tenderer should visit the proposed constructions site & should compulsorily upload the letter issued by Assistant Executive Engineer, K.S.D.B. Sub-Division, Belagavi addressed to the Executive Engineer K.S.D.B., Belagavi Division, Belagavi along with the technical bid, failing to comply with these norms will make the tender liable for rejection. (Feasibility Certificate)

The Tenderer should visit the proposed construction site and submit the feasibility report regarding men material & completion of works to the concerned Assistant Executive Engineer Sub-Division Belagavi, Teachers Colony, Hindalga, Belagavi and upload the acknowledge document along with the Technical Bid failing to comply with these norms will make the tender liable to rejection

Time for the completion of the work is 05 months
