SPECIAL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF CI PIPE LINE INTO DI PIPE LINES AT AF STN BKT

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil n.exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out for for laying pipe lines etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming with excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead etc complete all as specified and directed for 150 mm bore of pipes.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing of centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pipes of 150mm bore, class K-7, with spigot and socket ends, laid in trenches complete all as specified & directed. Make- Electrosteel casting Ltd/Jindal/TATA Note:- (i) Ductile iron specials / fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (ii) Unit rate includes for necessary joints and jointing materials.

Supply and fixing ductile iron pipes fittings (specials) conforming to IS 9523-2000 as per class 13 such as bends (any type , radius and angle), tapers any type (straight bends, increasing, deceasing or double socket etc.), Tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps, plugs and tail pieces (socketed / flanged), couplings any type etc. including jointing materials/nut bolts any types suitable for pipes complete of size 80 mm bore to 150mm bore all as specified and directed

Taking up or down existing cast iron sluice valves of any description and in any position, taking out joints complete all as specified and directed for the 150 mm bore of pipe.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing, ISI Marked, cast iron sluice valve of class PN-1.6 conforming to IS-14846 of 2000 both ends flanged with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle, long body type, jointed on both ends with and including rubber gasket joints, nut, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed suitable for 50 mm bore DI pipes.

M&L for cutting of existing GI / CI pipe line of 150 mm bore in position for rectifying leakage and reducing to required length, in position, for insertion of collars or other fittings including necessory excavation and earthwork, dewatering etc complete all as specified and directed.

Construction of Valve Chamber of size 1200 X 1200 X 1200 mm internal size suitable for Sluice Valve, with PCC 1:4:8 Type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate for foundation, 200 mm thick Brickwork with old size Fly Ash Bricks in Cement Mortar 1:6, 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate Coping, rendering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of Mild Steel Sheet Cover 3 mm thick with 40 X 40 X 6 mm size Angle Iron frame work embedded in concrete with suitable hinges and locking arrangements including two coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to steel surfaces and including necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil etc., removal of surplus soil off the premises complete all as specified and shown on drawing and as directed.

Cutting of existing road (500 mm wide minimum and depth upto 1m ) for laying of DI Pipe Line of 150 mm bore and making good the road including returning filling with soil , filling 100 mm thick hardcore broken stone and 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 on top of road etc complete all as specified and directed .
