Repair to pumping machinery of priming unit, repair to foot valve of unit I, II &III, replacement of suction pipe of unit I &III at LIS Dharap and minor repair works at LIS Giddar Galian and Khawaskhan
Dismantling the pump of priming unit coupled with 10HP motor from the base frame, dragging out of the pumproom at LIS Dharap.Also dismantling the foot valve of 4” dia of priming unit and foot valve of 14” diaof unit III after cutting the rusted nuts and bolts in the canal. Extracting out the foot valves from canal with the help of manual labour using tools and tackles. Loading of machinery and foot valves in the load carrier with the help of manual labour using requisite tool and tackles and shifting/transporting to workshop for repair. Repairs to priming pump at workshop by way of extraction of damaged parts. The job involves repair to impeller by way of brazing, turning and finishing to required size. Repair to pump shaft by way of re-metalling, turning and finishing to required size. P/F of new gland bushes (GM/SS)-01 No., check /lock nuts 01 Nos, bearing 01No as per sample and new CI gland plates and sleeves 1 no. P/F after fabrication of new gland set as per sample along with new nuts and bolts, The job includes replacement of gland packing, greasing, rubber sheet joint, and cost of material and labour charges. Dismantling of the damaged 10 HP motor at workshop, repairs to rotor by way of rebuilding, turning of the rotor shaft and finishing to bearing size, making new keyway for coupling, P/F of new bearings as per sample 02Nos and sleeves (DE & NDE). P/F of rubber star for coupling 01No of appropriate size Complete greasing of the bearings and assembling the rotor with stator. Repair to foot valve of 4” f of priming unit by way of dismantling of foot valve at workshop, fabrication of flap/resting plate out of MS plate by turning, boring, drilling holes as per size and making proper hinge arrangement for lifting plate. P/F of leather washer cut to size. P/F new strainer of desired size. Repair to foot valve of 14” f of unit III by way of dismantling of foot valve at workshop, fabrication of flap/resting plate out of MS plate by turning, boring, drilling holes as per size and making proper hinge arrangement for lifting plate. P/F of leather washer cut to size. P/F new strainer of desired size. Carriage back of pump, motor of priming unit along with repaired footvalves of 4” and14” dia to the road side at LIS Dharap, unloading with the help of manual labour and dragging to the place of installation using tools and tackle Installation of the repaired pump on base frame with proper greasing of motor and alignment after coupling it with motor and testing on full load. The job also involves aligning of suction and delivery end and fitting them with pump body by p/f of rubber sheet joint along with new nuts and bolts. Fitting of the foot valve of 4”f with new nuts & bolts, gasket sheet to suction pipe. Also plugging the leakage of suction pipe by welding a wider layer around the pipe by providing M S sheet of 2” width of 3mm thickness (minimum)as per requirment. P/F of rubber sheet joint for flanges 01No at the joints of suction pipe with required nuts, bolts and washer after extracting the old damage one at LIS Dharap. Dismantling of worn out tail piece of suction pipe of unit III from flange joints by cutting the old rusted nut bolts then extracting it out of the canal with the help of manual labour using required tools and tackles/crane/ chain pulley block arrangement. Providing and fitting of suction pipe of 14” f approximately a length of 4feet along with flange of 14” f 02No welded to both the ends of pipe along with new nuts, bolts and rubber sheet joints of required sizes for unit No. III. Fitting of the repaired foot valve of 14”fwith new nuts & bolts, gasket sheet to suction pipe. Dismantling of worn out tail piece of suction pipe of unit I from flange joints by cutting the old rusted nut bolts then extracting it out of the canal with the help of manual labour using required tools and tackles/crane/ chain pulley block arrangement. Providing and fitting of suction pipe of 10” f approximately a length of 4feet along with flange 01 No of 10” f 01No of 8”f welded to the ends of pipe along with new nuts, bolts and rubber sheet joints of required sizes for unit No. III. The job also involves reducing the one end of the suction pipe to 8” f by way of cutting, welding and hammering for fitment of flange of 8”f. Repair to foot valve of 08” f of unit No I by way of Dismantling thefoot valve at site after extracting it out of canal, providing and fitting of leather sheet cut to size along new nuts and bolts of required size. Fitting of the foot valve of 08”f after lowering in the canal with the help of manual labour using required tools and tacklesby p/f new nuts & bolts, gasket sheet to suction pipe. Repair to foot valve of 10” f of unit No II by way of Dismantling of suction line and extracting the suction pipe along with foot valve from the canal dismantling the foot valve at site, providing and fitting of leather sheet cut to size along new nuts and bolts of required size. Fitting the foot valve with suction pipe by P/F of rubber sheet joint along with new nuts and bolts of required size. Lowering down the suction pipe with foot valves in the canal and the aligning the suction pipe with other portion of suction and fitting it by P/F of rubber sheet joints along with new nuts and bolts at site. Complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, and carriage charges, hire charges of welding/cutting set and other tools and tackles required for execution of work. Repair to leakage of rising main at LIS Khawaskhan by way of digging the earth near the rising main to create space for welding/ repairing of rising main at three places, then welding a wider layer of 6” width of M S sheet of 3/4mm thickness on the rising main using super quality electrodes at all the three places. Then filling the dugout earth around the rising main. The complete job includes cost of material, hire charge of welding set and labour charges at Site. Testing the repaired welded joints for leakage on load. Excavation of 3.5 core service cable at LIS GiddarGalian from electrical substation to pump room approximately 27 meter by way of excavating in trench approx. 4 feet deep up to length of 10 meter and 2.5 feet deep up to remaining length, disconnection of HT and LT supply and then extracting the cable from the trench, relaying of cable after realigning and relaying in new trench partially under the road at places approximately 25 feet and in suitable conduit pipe as per requirement (approx. 20 feet ) on suitable route so as to provide sufficient length near transformer for looping. Making /stripping of cable ends on L T substation and main switch side.Thimbling of cable ends then giving connection to LT link set at one side and main switch on other side. Repair to L T set by way of replacing/ welding damaged M S strips, angle insulators nut bolts aluminum L clamps and other material and drilling holes, refilling of old and new trenches with excavated earth and making the surface smooth after ramming

Repair to gate at Gadigarh minor of size 6’2”X3’ by way of dismantling the winch machine along with stem rod then extracting out the gate leaf from the sliding grooves with the help of manual labour using required tools and tackles/ crane. Extracting the supporting channel from the civil hoisting structure by way of dismantling the hoisting structure and cutting of required nuts and bolts using gas/electric cutter for civil work to give the access to increase the height of hoisting structure. Extracting out the trash rack after cutting the required welded portion. Loading the gate leaf along with winch machine in the transport for carriage to workshop. Repair to gate structure by way of welding additional sheet of 04 mm of 01’width and 6’ 2” length along welding of 05 pieces of vertical channel of 1’ each and 01 piece of horizontal channel of 6’2” of size 3” size to increase the height of the gate by 01’ approximately also welding the sliding channel to the existing channel by 01’ both sides of size 6” and grouting them firmly. Repair to winch machine by way of dismantling and extracting out the old worn out worm gear, main gear and stem rod. Straitening of stem rod by press fitting. P/f of worm gear and main gear 01 no each and assembling the winch machine after greasing it properly. Carriage back of winch machine and leaf structure to the site. Sliding the leaf structure in the siding grooves. Installation of winch machine on the supporting channel and connecting the stem rod by p/f of required new nuts and bolts after ensuring gravity of the leaf structure. Checking the smooth up and down movement of the gate structure. Complete painting of winch machine and leaf structure after scratching the old paint using emery paper and then painting with two coat of enamel paint. The job also involves fabrication of trash rack of 7’X6’ using angle of 32mm size for main frame and iron rod of 10mm for cross and horizontal member, the welding the trash rash rack the hoisting structure. Complete job include cost of material hire charge of tools and tackle/crane, welding set, cutting set, carriage charge and labour charge at site. Dismantling the winch machine of 02 ton capacity from the supporting channel at Prithipur minor along with stem rod the extracting out the gate leaf from the sliding grooves with the help of manual labour using required tools and tackles. Dismantling the supporting channel from the hoisting structure to give access for civil work to strengthen the hoisting structure. Refitting the supporting channel and then inserting the gate leaf structure in the sliding grooves after welding the loosened joints. Welding of 32” long 02 nos vertical angle of size1.5” and 02 nos horizontal angle of 1.5’length of same dimensions to give the support to the hoisting structure/ channel. Repair to winch machine by way of providing and fitting of 01 no worm gear. Straightening of stem rod by hard pressing. Assembling back the winch machine after proper greasing by p/f of new nuts and bolts. Attaching the stem rod to the leaf structure and fitting the winch machine on the supporting channel by p/f of new require nuts and bolts of appropriate sizes after ensuring the gravity of the gate leaf structure. Complete painting of gate structure along with winch machine after scratching and cleaning the surfaces and then applying two coat of enamel paint. Complete job includes cost of material, deployment of welding set and fitment/labour charge at site. Dismantling the double gear mechanism type 5 ton winch machine along with stem rod from the hoisting channel at Shastri Nagar escape gate by way of cutting/unscrewing the nuts and bolts. Loading the winch machine along with stem rod in the load carrier with the help of manual labour using tools and tackles. Repair to winch machine by way of dismantling and extracting the damaged parts i.e. worm gear, main gear, bushes and bearing. P/F of 01 No worm gear, 01No main gear, 01No bearing /bushes required. Straightening the stem rod by bench pressing and heat treatment. Assembling the winch machine by greasing the gear mechanism properly. Assembling the rain protection pipe after ensuring that it is perpendicular to the base of winch machine. Carriage back of winch machine along with other allied part to the site of installation. Dismantling /extracting the 01 no hoisting channel from canal side by way of unscrewing the required nuts and bolts. Raising the canal side channel by inserting the required size shim/plate so that both the hoisting channels are on same level on both the axis and grouting it with PCC work. Fitting back the winch machine along with stem rod on hoisting channel after ensuring the center of gravity of gate leaf and by drilling hole on hoisting channel along with shifting of hook arrangement by welding work at site. Checking the gate leaf for its smooth up and down. Complete painting of winch machine, hoisting channel and gate leaf with two coat of enamel paint after cleaning the surfaces. Complete job includes cost of material, labour charges, carriage charges, hire charges of welding set and other tools and tackles required for execution of work at site

Fabrication of gate of 41”X3.5’ for Lalyana minor using 03 nos vertical and 03 nos horizontal M.S. angle 40mm size and welding of 4mm sheet on the duly welded frame of 41”X3.5’ to make a complete leaf structure. Welding of 02 nos L clamp having hole for attachment of stem rod after ensuring the center of gravity of the leaf structure. The job involves extracting out the old damaged struck gate leaf structure along with winch machine and supporting channel. Loading and then transportation of new gate leaf along with new winch machine, stem rod and required 02 nos supporting channel of size 4” or equivalent suitable of length 4.5’approximately each. Inserting the gate in the sliding grooves using manual labour, tripod stand/chain pulley and then providing/ fitting of hoisting channel on hoisting structure, fitting the new winch machine on the supporting channel by way of drilling holes in the M.S. base plate and hoisting channel at center of gravity position. Attaching the stem rod to gate leaf. Checking the gate for its smooth operation. Complete painting of gate leaf structure, winch machine and supporting channel with one coat of metal primer and two coat of enamel paint. Complete job includes cost of material, carriage charges, welding charges and fitment/labour charge at site.
