Maintenance of Nursery including watering the plants, mixing garden earth manure, filling pits, preparing potted plants sowing seeds, interculturing, propagating seedling and new saplings in polythene bags, transferring it to potted plants later, removing weeds, trimming, Sweeping concrete / pathway and including disposing of unwanted vegetations etc., transporting the cut branches through contractor's own tractors to dumping yard and disposing them as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of tractor and labour for transporting of cut leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening or nursery etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Pruners, Hoe, Wheelbarrow etc., 5. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 800 sq.m / day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 6. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours. 7. The contractor shall engage 1 site supervisor (who has acquired minimum certificate course in Horticulture) throughout the month, failure to employ the supervisor will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Collection, supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of Decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same to at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and supplying of Plastic Round Plant pot including tray at bottom, terracotta colour, of following size complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Arrangement of variety of flowers in flower vases three times in a week and placing the same at various rooms, seminar, lecture Halls, auditorium etc., in various places inside IGCAR including picking the flowers from department nursery, placing in vases, removing and disposal of flowers, refilling of water inside the vase etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of picking the flowers from Department Nursery. 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for three times in a week as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour will attract the penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Arrangement of flower pots monthly two times for various buildings in IGCAR area including loading / unloading, watering the plants daily and maintaining them in the nursery and in buildings etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of labour for transporting the flower pots. 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 4 person daily for shifting flower pots throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour will attract the penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Supplying and spreading of Cocopeat made out of coconut husk in a multi purpose growing medium size bag (cost of bag will paid separately under relevant item) etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and spreading of Vermicompost including cost etc. all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of growth regulators / hormones all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. – Rooting powder

Supply of flower vases of 8 to 12 inches height, made up of glass/fibre, shape and design as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and supplying of polythene bags for plants of different size with 600 micron thickness black colour complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of plant fertilizers all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge - Phytocil

Supply of plant pesticides all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. – Neem oil

Trimming of tree branches which gives hindrance to buildings, road side etc. including collecting and disposing the fallen trees / branches at places shown by the department all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. [Measured at a height of 1m above ground level].

Providing and supplying the following plant/tree saplings for plants in beds for further usage of propagation purpose, displaying and arrangement of potted plant species etc. including excavation, transportation, planting, repotting and initial watering all as per standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Conveying and disposing the unwanted surplus excavated earth & debris, broken materials, rubbish, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at identified places as Dumping yard with lead exceeding 3 kilometer but not exceeding 4 kilometer, as per requirement including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1) The rate shall include the hire charges for lorry for loading, unloading, collecting and disposing of swept materials the same as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil, @ 50% in respect of Rock and @ 30% in respect of debris from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 3) The earth/debris shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Clearing light jungle area, bulb weeds, grass including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth etc. complete, and disposing the same 100metres away manually or burning them without disturbing other areas etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Contractor must be informed to Engineer-in-charge and prior permission shall be obtained from him for burning the wild growth.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-charge complete all as per specifications.

Levelling, bull-dozing the heaped / dumped loosened earth / debris etc. by hiring JCB/Bul-dozer etc. including labour required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fencing conforming to IS:2721 of required width in mesh size 50x50mm, made of G.I. wire 3.15mm diametre including strengthening with top and bottom line wire 4mm diametre, (4mm diametre line wire at top, bottom & middle to be provided incase fencing height exceeds 2m) cutting of chain link & wires to required length, spreading, fixing & binding chain link to fencing post with 18 gauge binding wire including cost of GI bolts and washers and wire etc., complete in all respects all as per specifications & directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Removing moulded interlocking paver block without damaging shape & design including relaying in different place, laid over 100mm thick compacted bed of crushed stone sand (cost inclusive of crushed stone sand), filling the joints with crushed stone sand, compaction mechanically etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing the MS name plate of 300mmx150mm, 4mm thickness with supporting post 20mm MS tube of 1.2m height, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, provided with custom vinyl naming sticker of 300mmx150mm all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
