SCHEDULE 'A' PART-V (MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK)

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS

Supply and fixing of GI pipe bracket made out of GI pipe light grade 32mm bore, 1.5 metre long, bent to shape including MS clamps made out of MS flat iron of size 25x4 mm thick with nuts, bolts & washers complete all as spciefied and directed.

Supply, fixing, testing & commissioning amp rating 240V, 10KA, 50 HZ, 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) SP 0.5 Amp to 5 Amp .

All as per Serial Item No 4.02 above but SPN 6 Amp to 32 Amp complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 metres below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers alround, top & bottom and electrode connection by using galvanized iron earth strip 32x6mm connected to earth plate electrode by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers made of galvanized iron or steel and thimbles, GI pipe light grade 15mm bore for watering with funnel and wire mesh, GI light grade 40mm bore protection pipe for drawing in earth lead/ wire, PCC chamber in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 with angle iron 25x25x3mm frame work and pre-cast RCC cover in RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @100mm c/c both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, test point complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Standard Schedule of Rates (Part-I) including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and removal of soil to a distance not exc 50 metres and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) The unit rate shall include for GI protection pipe, GI water pipe, wire mesh, funnel and excavation, RCC pit cover, test point, galvanised iron wire/ strip from top of earth plate upto 5.0 metres above ground level and if GI protection pipe is less than 5.0 metres, no price adjustment shall be made. (b) PCC pit shall be provided at least 50cm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) If the testing result of earthing work is not found satisfactory then the contractor shall do another earthing work at his own cost and nothing shall be permissible on this account. (d) Earthing work will be carried out in presence of MES representative.
