Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as directed.

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, and exc 50mm and not exc 100mm in deep complete all as directed.

Screening road metal, chipping etc on the site of the work when specially ordered including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50mm to 20mm size) spread, rolled the surfaces by using 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller to consolidated to meet gradient and camber required complete all as directed.

All as per ser item no 04 above but except materials

M & L for preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleared surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 confirming to IS 8887 at the rate of application of 0.70-1.00 kg per sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridges works 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleared surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying prime coat with cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) grade confirming to IS 8887 at the rate of application of 0.2 -0.3 kg per sqm on bituminous surfaces as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 spread with self propelling mechanical paver machine rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tons power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) to make good the cut edges of roads etc complete all as directed

M&L Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant and spread with mechanical paver and rolled to required camber and gradient complete all as directed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick painting centre line, arrow, dashes, letters etc not exc 10 cm wide on roads pavement with hot applied thermoplastic roads marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine as per manufacturers instruction complete all as directed.

S&F road stud reflective type of metal body alloy with PAMA strip lens reflector with MS stud of suitable size fixed with adhesive as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as directed.Make: Model No DA-972 of Dark Eye or equivalent of 3M/Sun Eyez/ M/s Texla Plastic & Metal Pvt Ltd / M/s Automat Road Safety Pvt Ltd.

S&F Solar road stud made of aluminium alloy , 100% water proof with high efficiency mono crystalling solar panel 2.4 V/ 0.30 watt , one Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd rechargable battery (1.2v/1600MA), six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd, bearing weight of 10 tonnes (appx) fixed as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as directed.
